Monthly Rentals in Goose Cove

This is a really cozy and quaint historic home smack dab in the middle of a postcard perfect town. Trinity feels like a museum, it’s hard to believe people actually live here. The house was clean, cozy, and fully of character. Lots of thoughtful details and decorations throughout the house. We really loved the amount of character this house has. As an older home it does tend to get a little cool inside, and the door frames are not designed for taller people (might want pack a helmet if you’re taller than 6 foot). These things just add to character and charm of this lovely home.

Our stay at the red yurt was delightful. The photos on the webpage presented an accurate image. Our hosts, Jeff and Jane, were like old friends in no time. Breakfast was delivered each morning at a time of our choosing. Jeff also makes a stone fired pizza for all guests. It was delicious! Jane kindly baked a surprise birthday cake for me and left fresh muffins in our yurt each day—also delicious. The bed was very comfortable and a small electric fireplace kept the space cozy. For people not used to camping I will point out that the yurt is a bit removed from the main bathroom so you have to walk up a slight incline on a grassy path to the bathroom with the shower. There is however a small bathroom on your deck for use at night. Both bathrooms are yours alone. The area has many trails and great places to eat. It is an easy drive to other towns on the peninsula. We would happily recommend a yurtopia yurt stay to anyone looking for a very unique experience. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful location, well appointed and perfect location for exploring the Bonavista Peninsula with local food options within walking distance. Super clean property too and great hosts. Would gladly stay again! Thank you!
