We loved our stay here. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for an autumn getaway in the country. Elizabeth has thought of everything; from the decorations and styling of the house to the thoughtful breakfast provided. We loved sitting by the fire playing board games and seeing the cows and sheep roaming past. The beds were so comfy and well equipped for a cold night. We would love to come back here and would recommend it to everyone. Elizabeth was easy to communicate with and very accomodating and kind.

We absolutely loved this Air BnB, I don't think I have ever stayed in one so clean. The bedrooms were roomy & stylish and the beds very cosy. The whole house was beautifully styled with lots of lovely features and the place smelt lovely too. The kitchen had everything you would need, we loved the fresh bread and the little touches like marshmallows to go with hot chocolate. It would be a great place for a girls weekend or a family get together the city centre is less than 5 minutes drive with plenty to see and do. It was quite chilly in Bendigo while we were there but the house was lovely and warm. We would gladly visit again anytime.

The house was clean, tidy, had good amenities and was in a great ocation. Deborah was friendly, responsive and gave some good local recommendations.

Lovey open plan living room that makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter the house. We felt right at home. Love it.

My experience with the hosts was excellent and the property was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was huge and everything you could possibly need and want was provided. We arrived to a roaring fire, a fridge stocked with generous breakfast provisions and a freshly baked cake which was a lovely touch. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and a phone charger provided which was great as I’d forgotten mine! I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be back. The place was fantastic and clearly a labour of love as it has been beautifully restored. Easy to find and secure with a private back yard. The furniture and amenities are all new and well thought out with plenty of space for 2 couples. The heaters were very appreciated in the cold Bendigo winter as was the under floor heating in the bathroom. would recommend for anyone wanting to spend a few days in Bendigo or surrounds. Tony was very responsive to messages and offered helpful recommendations of local restaurants. As it is an 1880s cottage there is no off street parking however there is plenty of on-street available right out the front so I would not consider it an issue.

We stayed 2 nights at Kelly’s apartment and were very happy with the location. We didn’t need to use the car during our stay. It’s an easy walk to View Street and the Bendigo Gallery, the city centre, parks, restaurants and shops. The apartment is well appointed with everything provided to make our stay very comfortable. Very comfortable bed with beautiful linen. Would stay here again.

I loved Renee and Izy’s place. Perfect location (short walk onto the Main Street, and up to the Convent). The heating was great, the bed was comfy. Thanks so much.

The location was close to all the attractions Daylesford has to offer. We can recommend your home to anyone.

The apartment is just fabulous. It is so close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. We walked everywhere. It had all the amenities and equipment needed for self catering whilst away from home. The apartment itself is HUGE............... i have never sat on such a large lounge. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. The heater was on for our arrival which was very much appreciated.

Clevedon Cottage was a cosy, beautiful cottage conveniently located within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Castlemaine. Considering we stayed on the long weekend in June when the Jazz festival was on in town, it was priced exceptionally well, and had a lot of thoughtful touches inside that you wouldn't get elsewhere. I highly recommend for anyone planning a short stay in Castlemaine.

We loved our stay in Jane’s cosy, warm and well appointed property. It’s close to all the restaurants and shops, but removed and quiet. We especially loved the welcoming food items and the laundry! We would not hesitate to return.

Nice place warm, clean and close to everything. Suitable for our family of 3 adults and 1 child.

Fantastic- only down side being the need to be reasonably agile as there is only one shower over the spa bath. Also no tissues (perhaps an oversight) and a coffee plunger & teapot would be a worthwhile addition. Overall very lovely!
