Monthly Rentals in Gold Canyon

The house was great. We love the Gold Canyon area and always stay out there when we visit. On this trip we saw the most wildlife in the neighborhood that we ever have. We love watching the quail, rabbits and doves. Every morning at sunrise I would open the sliding glass doors so I could listen to the birds wake up and welcome the day. Definitely recommend Anna’s place.

We were making this trip a research for potential retirement locations, and wanted to check out Gold Canyon. This space was perfect , was a great neighborhood in a gated area and it was easy to maneuver. A nice grocery store and a couple of nice restaurants nearby was exactly what we were looking for. The only “issue” we had, which was no the fault of the host or the complex, the pool was closed for maintenance, but it gave us the opportunity to rent a boat and going out on Canyon Lake, which we would not have done if the pool was open so we had an unexpected adventure! William was very responsive and great to deal with, would definitely stay here again .

Linda and Mike were incredible hosts. As we stayed for a while, they kept us up to date with necessary information throughout the trip. We could count on them to respond right away if we had a question. If you're looking for hosts that care about your experience, here you are. We had a fantastic stay at their nicely kept home. The house is a nice mixture of southwest decoration, open space, tidy, and whatever you need in a home. The desert garden, pool, hot tub were all a joy to immerse ourselves in. Feeding the birds was one of the highlights-- so many quails, cardinals, and woodpeckers. Even a road runner! In the evening it was stone quiet, with only the owls hooting and occasional coyote howl or dog bark. The atmosphere was serene. It is very difficult to find a place in the Phoenix valley so close to the Superstition Wilderness. When you want to escape the city noise and lights, but still be an hour of downtown, this is the place. We would happily visit again. Warm wishes M&L!
