Unfortunately, there is a stairway between the apartment and the main floor, so you have to expect sounds from the children! Wild, beautiful and steep! Cabin with a fantastic view. Great natural surroundings with great hiking opportunities. Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

The rental is located down in the valley with a view to the mountains. The house is a part of the Leir farm. It is eight minutes to drive to start of the alpine lift, and twenty minutes if you want to drive up the mountain. And if you want to ski up, the trails go over the fields all the way to the ski lift, provided there is enough snow. Or you can make your way along the old farm road through the forest.
