The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Unfortunately, we are currently only allowed to accommodate guests in accordance with the 2G rule. As of 01/22/2022

Darker in winter (basement), nice and cool in summer. 6 km to Freiburg main station/Münsterplatz in Freiburg, 10 min. walk to the end of the tram, from there 15 min. to Freiburg. 20 minutes by bike. Flexible key handover.

Kleines Bad mit WC und Dusche, komplett eingerichtete Küche mit Gasherd und Backofen (ohne Spülmaschine, keine Mikrowelle), Wohnzimmer mit Sofa, schnelles WiFi/WLAN, kleiner Fernseher, Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Welcome! The guest apartment (about 50 square meters) is located in the basement of our house - enough space that our guests can feel comfortable in their own area. Included in the price is the tourist tax to the municipality of Glottertal. From two nights (only for tourist stays) you will receive the KONUS-Card, with which you can use public transport free of charge throughout the Black Forest region, as well as free parking tickets for all P+R parking spaces in Freiburg.

The lovingly furnished 40 sqm apartment "Haus Barbara" is located in the semi-basement (south-facing) of a quiet (in a 30 km/h zone) semi-detached house at the foot of the "Eichberg" away from the main road. A covered seating area (south side) with table and chairs is right in front of the apartment. The outdoor pool is a few minutes' walk away. Bus stop (150 m), bakery (150 m), butcher (150 m) and a grocery store (Rewe, 500 m) are nearby.

The location is ideal as a starting point for activities of all kinds. You can walk directly from the house or get on the nearby bus to your destination. For guests by car, the journey time to most attractions in the Black Forest is less than 45 minutes.

Public transport, a bakery are nearby. 10 min. to Emmendingen city center ( bus or car), about 15 min. to Freiburg ( train or car), about 30 min. to Europa-Park in Rust ( car). There is an excavator lake nearby ( it may be bathed)

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking and skiing, Freiburg is quickly accessible, the Breisgau S-Bahn is a 10-minute walk away. Waldkirch has been awarded the "Citta Slow" distinction since 2002 and is a small town worth living in with the tradition of organ building.

Wenn zwei Personen buchen sollten Sie sich gern haben, das Bett ist 1,40m breit. Die Küche ist nur für kleine und einfache Zubereitungen ausgestattet. Fragen beantworten wir jederzeit gerne.

You will stay in a small workshop house on the edge of the old town, Wiehre district. Due to the rear house situation, you will live very quietly but still centrally, in the middle of Freiburg. The tram stop and bike station are just 2 minutes away. The infrastructure is extremely good, all important shops are within walking distance.
