New Spacious Apt in Historic Golf Links Hotel

We loved the space with its bright and airy front room. Internet was a bit spotty at times. Location was difficult to map but we finally found it. Loved the ability for a morning walk into Glengariff. Good beds, nice bathroom. Responsive host

Rustic Cottage with charm and original features.

DavidRating, 5 stars9 months ago
An ideal, quiet, disconnected getaway. Idyllic location just off the main road but quiet due to the abundance of trees nearby. A simple and cozy place to relax without any distractions. Ideal for two adults just looking for a place to lay their heads at night and disconnect from things. Dan is an absolute gentleman and a lightning fast responder on messages. perfect.

White cottage, real wood fire

OliverRating, 5 stars1 week ago
In my many years of Airbnb accommodation, I've never felt as welcome as I did with Maggie and Paddy. Both are always concerned about their guests' well-being, always helpful, and always available with time, advice, and support. The little cottage offers everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Quiet yet centrally located. I will never forget my time with them.

Wind In The Willows

Marcel JohannesRating, 5 starstoday
My stay at this little apartment in the middle of the Irish countryside was simply wonderful. The cabin is set on a small hill, surrounded by gentle green waves of landscape, with views that stretch all the way to the sea. The photos hardly do it justice — the sea is much closer than I expected, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Anke and Kees are incredibly friendly and thoughtful hosts. Since I was travelling by public transport, they kindly picked me up in Schull and dropped me off at the bus stop again on my departure day. That was so considerate and made everything easy and relaxed. I spent three nights there in complete peace and seclusion — a perfect place to recharge and soak up the beauty of nature. From the apartment, you can set off on beautiful hikes, whether up into the hills or down to the beaches. The apartment was very clean, tidy, and very cosy. If you’re looking for tranquillity, nature, and a place to be self-sufficient, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Woodhaven Lodge

This is a lovely house and we really enjoyed our week’s holiday here, using it as a base to explore the area. It is spacious and well equipped, very clean and comfortable and it is in a lovely setting, in the middle of woods with trails of different lengths you can follow. Maurice was an excellent host – sending us clear directions, with photos to help find the house – and giving us advice on places to visit. Glengarriff is in a great position for touring the area. It is a small village in a very pretty setting. We took the short ferry trip past the seals on the rocks to Garnish Island, which has a beautiful garden. We also visited the Killarney National Park (about an hour’s drive), including Mucross House and Abbey, the Healy Pass (beautiful scenery), Gougane Barra Forest (great for walking on rainy days), Bantry House (also good for a rainy day) and Skibbereen (including the Heritage Centre). We would highly recommend this house and would happily stay there again ourselves.

Dalewood

Such a beautiful stay in Glengarriff! Helga was so kind and accommodating. She left us grapes, bananas, other fruits, etc... and milk in the fridge. So kind!! Her backyard is idyllic for a beautiful morning breakfast. My mom and I really loved it. I'm nearly 6 foot so finding a mirror I could see my face in was challenging 😄 - but that's a non-issue and certainly didn't detract from how much we loved our stay. Thank you, lovely Helga!
