I have stayed in many cottages with my dog and this was one of the most outstanding. You’re right in the heart of the village and 5 mins from the ancient sites of St Peter’s and St Patrick’s and the sea, one of the most beautiful places in England (and so dog friendly - everyone seems to have a dog!). The cottage itself is just lovely - everything is impeccable and Abigail is one of the very few hosts who’s thought about EVERYTHING you could possibly need in a kitchen (even down to herbs, salt, oil, tea, coffee, butter, milk, eggs and bread!). The bedrooms are lovely, super comfortable, and who doesn’t love a wood burning stove! Even got friendly with the neighbours. The bus stop to Morecombe and Lancaster is 60 seconds from the house so if like me you don’t have a car (and have an old slow dog!) the transport connectivity is priceless. I’d choose this cottage over a million others. Had such a restful stay x

We had a lovely long weekend at Andrew's cottage. It was easy to get to and easy to get in! It was just like staying at a friend's house, with some nice personal touches. We had no trouble parking outside. There are a couple of local shops for essentials, and also take aways. We enjoyed meeting the lovely dog next door, and our two pooches made use of Andrew's back garden. We spent a day in Lancaster, and a day in Morecambe. We also enjoyed walkies at the local parks. The house was warm, and the beds were comfy! Made some happy memories.

We had a comfortable 3 night stay in this well located and equipped cottage. The accommodation is easily found and accessed from the main road. Communication with the hosts was very good. We had a enjoyable couple of walks along the Lune estuary and the nearby canals.
