In our cozy country house apartment on the edge of the village you can relax wonderfully and enjoy “life in the country.” Whether for a break from everyday stress, for creative work in the home office in the countryside or for visiting friends and family, you will not lack anything in Hörste. The village-famous “Villa Kunterbunt,” from 1911, once housed the Hörste post office. At that time, the apartment served as a stable for the stagecoach.

This loft apartment is cosily furnished and has plenty of space in which to relax. The spacious bedroom has a double bed, and the large sofa in the living room can be transformed into a single or double bed. A baby bed is also available upon request. Booking in and out timings can be flexible and can easily be arranged prior to arrival. Bad Iburg's Castle, spa gardens and local centre are but a few minutes walking distance away.

In the heart of the Teutoburg Forest, in the middle of the Bad Essen mountain, in the immediate vicinity of the family vacation home Haus Sonnenwinkel, is our lovingly and comfortably furnished vacation home for up to four people. Treat yourself to some time for yourself and visit our retreat hut. Our retreat cabin is adjacent to our country hostel and has a view of wide meadows and beautiful sunsets. Even in winter, our cabin is comfortably and warmly heated. On request, a small campfire can be made in front of the cabin.
