OAH 1870 Oldest Alesund House

Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. Welcome to our new holiday house. This is one of a few house that is completely at sea side in this region. It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. Private access to the fjord. 800m walk to restaurants and shops.

Experience a tradisjonal Norwegian farm house that has panaroma views of beautiful nature, mountains and ocean views.

Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Yet only 20 min. by car to Ålesund city centre. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers. Can also fit a small family. (Extra mattresses). We can also assist with transport to/from the airport on Saturday afternoon/evening. There is a 24 HOUR (Monday-Saturday) grocery store 2 km from the listing. Joker Vikane. Adr: Vikevegen 22.

The cabin is situated right next to some of the most beautiful fjords in Norway. in the summer you can experience whales swimming by, different birds and other animals. in the winter you can wake up and drive 30 minutes and go skiing in the mountains. You can also se beautiful northern lights (aurora borealis) here.
