Holiday rentals with a patio in Gilmer County

My girlfriend and I went on a Georgia get away and stayed at this amazing place for three nights. It was wonderful. The family that lived there was extremely friendly and welcoming while still respecting our privacy. The house sits beautifully on a gorgeous mountain that was close to great hikes with amazing views and not too far from downtown Ellijay. Overall it was an amazing trip due to this beautiful spot friendly host and sweet city.

What a beautiful setting. We wished it had been warmer to enjoy the patio and the view. Kitchen was well stocked and Lana had left us some yummy pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for breakfast. We would love to stay in December but unfortunately it is booked for one of the nights we are interested in. We would definitely stay here again. So peaceful!

Excellent option in Ellijay...close to Amicalola Falls, Appalachian Trail, apple orchards, river, local town square for coffee, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Cultural museums, candy shop. We stayed here for my nephew's wedding at Summit Farm Weddings @10 miles away...a beautiful atmosphere with picturesque mountains, rolling hills and pastures. Highly recommend. It was chilly in FEB, but we'll be back again for check out summer. Thank you RandA!

Beautiful little space extremely close to the square. The room looked exactly as pictured. Bathroom contained luxury shower items (shampoo, conditioner, aromatherapy spray) as well as any little extras that travelers may forget. There is a small cubby with a selection of teas, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Upon arrival, the friendly co-host was on the property checking to make sure all of the units were ready for the day’s guests. Note: This is a house with 3 units. There is a porch area with seating as well. I will echo prior reviews that state the mattress is extremely soft and sinks down - not an issue for me, but could be an issue if you like a firm mattress. I also was not certain if the main comforter had been changed out or if there were just a few old stains on it, so I did not use it (this is my habit in hotels anyway). Overall, this is a lovely little spot if you are looking for a place to sleep within walking distance to the square.

This place was absolutely amazing! It was my boyfriend and I’s first time in Georgia from Florida, and we honestly were amazed with the whole thing. We came for my bf’s fire conference in ATL, which is exactly an hour away from this air bnb (if there’s no traffic once arriving in ATL). Things that stood out to me were how safe the entire area is (owner is the owner of it all), how fast things were done (had an issue with a lock and the lock was fixed instantly!), and the amenities if traveling with pets. We’ll def be back to book the cabins the owner owns as well, he even let us use the pond on that side to go fishing. The entire place felt so homey and it made our trip well worth it. The owner is extremely friendly as you can see by other reviews, and the Airbnb is clearly designed with a lot of attention to detail. I’d recommend this place 100%. Chattanooga is only like 45 mins away from here too, so we went there as well. There’s better things to do near this Airbnb than Atlanta.

Great location, walking distance to the heart of downtown! Loved the vibe of the place, would highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Dalton!

I cannot emphasize enough the highest level of customer service, hospitality, and pleasantry our hosts provided. Our stay was exceptional even with a power outage (terrible storm, trees went down, messed up the power line) and a WiFi issue (not sure why). Our hosts were on the phone with us, helping us trouble shoot, and were SO accommodating. All accommodations were pristine and allowed perfect rest and relaxation. Thank you so much!

Had an absolutely amazing time staying here. It was beyond our expectations. The house itself is incredibly modern. You feel like you’re living inside a magazine photo. Every day we were sitting inside, we could see the farm animals grazing. In addition, the location is perfect because you are just a few minutes away from the main Ellijay city center with tons of restaurants and cute shops to explore. However, whenever you come back to the Air bnb, you feel like you’re in a rural oasis. All of this doesn’t even mention how amazing it was to be able to interact with Ted himself and his farm animals. He allowed us the opportunity to feed them, tour the farm, try some of their produce, and generally get an idea of what it’s like to take care of a farm like their’s. They also have multiple other properties on site in case you have a large group of people. Ted himself was everything you could want from an Air bnb host: friendly, positive, helpful, and responsive. Can’t wait to be back soon!

I had an amazing stay at Michelle’s treehouse. It struck the perfect balance of feeling remote and peaceful, yet still conveniently close to town. I came to Ellijay to hike and mountain bike, and Michelle’s place was ideally located—within 30 minutes of several great trails: Amadahy and Smooth Operator trails near Carters Lake for biking and the scenic Blackberry Falls hike Michelle suggested. The tiny home itself was beautiful. Tucked beside a flowing creek, it offered incredible views from the full-length windows in the living area. Every evening, I watched deer wander along the creek. I even spotted a fox and a bear one night. It truly felt like a retreat in nature. The place is about 20 minutes from the historic downtown, where I loved grabbing coffee in the mornings and dinner in the evenings: The Shack (great poke bowls), Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza, and Butcher & Bottler. Every experience I had—from the food and coffee to the incredibly kind locals—was outstanding. Thanks Michelle!

Great peaceful cabin with beautiful view off the top deck! The national forest trail directly at the top of the driveway is great amenity and beautiful walk in the woods! Very convenient to the adventures in the Aska wilderness area. Great house for family use or a couple of families. Erin was a great host that was ready to help on all questions we had. Highly recommend this house for the area.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb for our girls’ weekend! The house was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Every one of us slept comfortably, which can be rare when traveling in a group, but this place was so well set up. The location was secluded and very private, surrounded by nature, which made for such a peaceful retreat. We even saw a lot of deer right outside, which was a beautiful touch! Our host was fantastic—very responsive and incredibly helpful with recommendations. She suggested some great wineries and restaurants in the area, as well as local hikes to explore. One of her recommendations, Roo Winery, was a standout. We went there and had a wonderful experience—the wine and atmosphere were great. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we would definitely come back!

An absolutely stunning stay! Nancye was extremely nice and gave perfect directions for everything! Check in and check out were very simple! Family Friendly with gorgeous view! The winery is only 5 minutes away and all of the amenities were squeaky clean and ready to use! We were a huge fan and cannot wait to stay again!

The perfect place for some R&R! The porch with its comfy furniture, fireplace and swing bed was exactly where I wanted to be to watch the rain for the entire weekend. We slept SOLID in the comfy beds and dark rooms at night. Kitchen was extremely well stocked! would love to go back!

A very nice place just a short walk from downtown Dahlonega! Stacy thought of everything! I came up for the Bear on the Square festival and it was the perfect place to be close to the action. I would say it felt like home, but honestly the Boyd Nest is nicer than my actual house haha. I just wish I had been able to spend more time there!

This cabin in Suches is perfect for rest and relaxation! My husband and I slept amazingly well! The proximity to tubing and fishing on the river was perfect for us. We used the tubes and kayaks as well. We were visiting to learn about the area and the owner Billy was an amazing host and guide to North Georgia. He even picked us up for one of our tubing trips!

Wow! Erica's condo is GORGEOUS. It was right in the mix of downtown Blue Ridge--couldn't ask for a better location. The condo was pristine. It was beautiful and spotless and incredibly charming. There were cute little touches throughout. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were stunning. We loved the jazz playing as you walk in and little snacks on the counter. View of the vintage train was also very cool. It was so easy to get in to the apartment building, which was very modern and clean. The parking spot was also wonderful because it was convenient and covered. We were able to walk to everything! Would definitely stay here again and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. 10/10!

The space was clean and was comfortable for our large group. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay up in North GA!
