The location is ideal for cycling and swimming also in the Wörth and Pilsen lakes. The centre can be reached on foot in 6 Min.. Munich can be reached in ca. 25 Min. (35 km), Neuschwanstein and Zugspitze in approx. 90 Min.

From here you can easily reach Munich city center for sightseeing, exhibitions, as well as Oktoberfest by S-Bahn, train or car in about 30 minutes. For further excursions, we recommend the largest thermal spa world in Europe in Erding, Poing amusement park and the exploration of many swimming lakes. Spacious, bright 3-room apartment (living room, 2 bedrooms with balcony) with high-quality furnishings (about 80 sqm of usable space) on the 2nd floor of a two-family house has its own access. Quiet but central location in Gilching (25 minutes by car to Munich City or to the Upper Bavarian Lakes (Lake Starnberg, Lake Ammersee, Lake Wörthsee). Munich city can be reached in 30 minutes by S-Bahn (line S8). Shops for daily needs are all within walking distance (5 minutes).

The house on the lake belongs to my wife and me. My son and his wife coordinate the rental for us (co-hosts). The lower apartment in the house is rented, the upper one we use occasionally. We look forward to welcoming you as guests in the upper apartment. The apartment is newly renovated, 100 sqm2 in size, offers plenty of space, light and a view over the lake and the mountains – great to unwind. The modern holiday apartment 'Josef' is located in Gilching and is perfect for an unforgettable holiday with your loved ones. The 105 m² property consists of a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a very well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and induction cooker, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 10 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi. Children's books and toys, a baby cot and a high chair are also available on request.
