Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not located in a vacation park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018, it was completely renovated and furnished with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best thing is that it is in the middle of the trees. All the freedom on our own 1100m2 property! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Veluwe Nature House: Directly on the Crown Estate

From your nature cottage, you can walk or cycle directly into the woods or over the heathlands of this most beautiful place. Bicycles are free and maps are available. Spot wildlife (such as red deer) and visit the many museums and attractions nearby! It is absolutely quiet: no traffic or thoroughfare. Practical: * Check-in from 3 p.m., check-out 11 a.m. (later not possible due to cleaning). * A car is recommended (public transport is not optimal). We do everything we can to make your stay comfortable.

Sauna in the woods 'Metsä'

Our cozy bungalow is located in the middle of the woods of the Overijssel Vechtdal. The forest house has a beautiful sauna and a big (wild) garden of more than 1000 m2 where you can rest and enjoy all the flora and fauna. From the cottage you can walk, cycle and swim for hours. There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. The cottage is located on a private bungalow park, where many homes are occupied for private use. There are also cottages like this that are rented out. It is a quiet area, with an access road to the adjacent forest. You can cycle nicely in the area. But also possibly shop in the nearby villages such as Dedemsvaart and Hardenberg.

Jan's renovated cowshed has 3 spacious double rooms. All rooms have a beautiful private bathroom with shower and toilet.
