Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Giardini Naxos

Best place we have stayed in italy,and we have been going for several years. Marco was very attentive and helpful.. A real gem.

This is fabulous accommodation in the centre of Taormina. The villa was excellent in every way, with well-equipped kitchens. The roof top terrace was perfect for relaxing, with superb views of the town and Mount Etna. There were shops and many restaurants on our doorstep. John was very helpful, sorted out our taxi transfers and gave us lots of information about restaurants and local amenities. Very highly recommended!

Great villa with a lot of space and many bathrooms. Beautiful view! Host was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The actual place matched the photos and for sure worth the price we paid.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is gorgeous. Our children were able to play in the garden and swimming pool. If you want to sit a little outside the tourist hustle and bustle, and yet have all the amenities at your fingertips, this is ideal. We'd love to come back.

Adorable cottage with incredible views! It was perfect location for the three of us. Smack in the middle between Teormina and Catania with gorgeous Reposto in between. That is if you have a car. The accommodations are just as described and on the photos. Maybe a little more of a seating area in the living room would be fantastic since that is where the internet is the strongest. Otherwise the garden, the jacuzzi, the neighborhood - all are beyond enjoyable! We would love to come back. Oh, yes, if you are thinking about hiking Mount Etna - just ask Andrea! You would have the BEST experience possible!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Santina's lovely home, even if it was just for one night. The house itself was beautiful, located in a peaceful area, which made for a truly relaxing experience. Santina is an incredibly kind and helpful host, going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying in our own home. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat.

The accommodation is cozy and invites you to relax. For the surroundings, it is quiet and the view is awesome. However, it is recommended to have a car on site as shopping facilities are limited in the small village of Puntalazzo. The next major city (Giarre) is about 20 minutes by car, but that's perfectly fine. The parking facilities directly in front of the house can be challenging depending on the car as it is a bit angled. However, there is a parking lot 1 min away. Orazio is a great host, he is quick to respond and gives good recommendations for the area and restaurants. He is extremely interested in enriching the stay and is always easy to reach🤩 Absolutely top. 👍

Francesca and Enzo's little house is ideally located at the foot of Etna but also in a peaceful, pretty and very pleasant locality, with all the facilities. We had a great stay there to visit the entire east coast of Sicily. Francesca is particularly attentive and gives very good advice. We highly recommend it to travellers looking for calm, authenticity and contact.

Amazing stay at Chiara’s Airbnb. She was such a responsive host and had her neighbour greet us. The accomodation was beautiful, perfect size. The balcony and views were lovely. Chiara gave us a bunch of recommendations around the area too which were all great.

Mario’s place was in a great location, within walking distance of the town centre. Spectacular views from the balcony. Parking was an issue, in the end we just parked in one of the car parks for the duration of the stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

This is a spacious airbnb with a wonderful view of Mt Etna. 5 minute drive to the local jeep tours of Mt Etna. Local grocery store just down the street. Comfortable beds. Would definitely come stay here again next time we visit and bring more family to enjoy the space and view!

My 3 sisters and I stayed for our annual European trip and the apartment met out needs and more. Every morning was spent on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views. Taormina is the jewel in Sicily’s crown with so much to do and see including a taste of opera, history, boat tours, beaches, shopping, gelato and more. 5 days was not long enough. Local shops and amenities are on the doorstep and you couldn’t ask for a better location with easy access to the cable car and bus stops etc. Very easy pick up/drop off for Uber. Steps are a feature of the area so pack at least 1 pair of sensible shoes!

Elvira’s place was very clean and so spatious! The view was amazing and the sound of the waves was so peaceful. Elvira was very friendly and always answered quickly. We had a beautiful stay at her place. We would definitely recommend!

For the price this time of year and our very specific needs for multiple bedrooms with a toddler and another adult and proximity to town, this place is perfect. Also, Rocca is such a sweetheart and went above and beyond to help us out with recommendations, fixing a power outage (there was a big storm during our stay and it went out a few times). Some of the previous reviews highlighted the only negatives, so we knew them when we booked it. Bed super hard...put the comforter down on top of the mattress which helped (thanks for the suggestion!) ...there is a SMALL fridge, not a full fridge, so plan accordingly. And no ac in the third small room with a bed, just a fan and hall ac unit so our guest had to leave her door open to get the ac . We knew that coming in and were appreciative of Rocca and the amazing location! The pool was great for our little guy too!

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

The property is off the beaten path and full of character. It’s got a wonderful garden and terrace area with amazing views of the surrounding mountains - the highlight of the place. The host was responsive. The only negative is the flushing of the toilet in the main apartment which doesn’t quite work right. However, the views and the fact there is a BBQ was provided more than made up for this minor inconvenience

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

It would take more than five stars to do right to our experience with Villa Artemis. So far we always had good experiences with the accomedations we booked via AirBnB, but Villa Artemis totally exceeded our already high expectations. It was simply perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and with no less than two living/dining rooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is are plenty of places to sit and relax with wonderfull views on both the sea and the Etna. The house is clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a great and carefree holliday is there. This review wouldn't be complete however if I didn't mention the family that hosts the place. Francesco, Giovanna, Antionio and Valeria were very kind, always willing to assist. They helped us out more than once. We are really happy to have met them, and hope to meet again.

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mara's house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the outdoor spaces were truly amazing. The kitchen is on the small side but we had no problems cooking meals for eight. We took the short drive into Santa Venerina for groceries and a couple of meals. The streets were not as narrow as some Italian villages. The best part of the stay was Mara herself! She is so helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival, showing us around the property and even leaving us some little treats! The house is beautiful and in the perfect location. The hosts leave you to yourselves but are always on hand if you have any questions. We had a perfect stay made even better by the hosts. Thank you so much for our perfect trip.

Sonia was extremely helpful and attentive. The villa is absolutely beautiful and has plenty of great space where everyone can relax. Views of Etna and the ocean! Very safe gated community and peaceful. Riposto is a great spot to enjoy on its own (marina, fish market, beaches) or to easily get to Taormina, Etna, Catania, Siricusa/Ortigia. Sonia will help you with advice on local activities, questions/tips about your plans, or will plan things for you. We were here on a family trip (2 adults and young teenagers) and couldn't have been more pleased.

In Summary: 1. Placido was the perfect host, helpful, attentive, discreet and rightly proud of his villa 2. The villa itself was spotlessly clean with a very high fit and finish throughout 3. The gardens are magnificent, full of tall palm trees, beautiful plants, lots of evening lighting and traditional Scillian pottery. It is obvious that whole area has been meticulously maintained over many years. 4. The pool is large and flat bottomed, other than a gloriously deep area at one end. The water was crystal clear and Placido continually maintained the pool area during our stay. 5. The area is not overlooked and has a fantastic view of mount Etna in the distance. It is difficult to put into words just how well planted, maintained and landscaped the garden and pool area is. The garden is abound with mature palm trees, shrubs, cactuses, hand painted pottery and evening lighting. This is a lovely place to spend time in. Overall we highly recommend Villa Papardo.
