What a blessing it was that we fell upon this AirBnB and booked it for our stay in Rethymno. Mr. Manolis and his wife were amazing hosts, making us feel welcomed the second we got there. The space was superb. Very clean, perfect for a couple, and the pool an added bonus. All in all we will look back at our stay in Rethymno very fondly because of this particular spot.

Accustomed to Airbnb, this house is part of the top 3. The splendid house is accessed by a small "path". Cretan specialties were waiting for us upon arrival. Very responsive hotel and really attentive to us.

Probably the first Airbnb we've stayed at that deserves 6 out of 5 stars. I'm usually a little nervous if a place only has a few reviews - no reason to be for this villa! My wife and I have stayed at about 20-30 Airbnbs in Europe, Asia, Oceania, and N. America; we both agreed this is the nicest one we've stayed at! Apart from the house itself, which indeed looks as good as the photos if not better, it is so peaceful and scenic there as well. Arriving late at night, we joked the villa looked like Tony Stark's mansion lit up as it came into view from the road. Driving down to the main town beneath you which is essentially an extension of Rethymno only takes about 5-7 minutes. Lots of great bakeries, restaurants, beaches, etc there. Finally, a place this nice does not really need to do anything else - but they do anyways. Iro was our hostess and, as mentioned in other reviews, was fantastic. Met us at the villa, gave a tour and welcome baskets, very responsive during stay. Again A++

We had a wonderful time staying at Kostas' place! The location in the mountains of Crete is simply fantastic and offers a breathtaking view that has fascinated us every day. The house was perfectly equipped, ideal for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle. The pool with towels and all kinds of amenities such as toys was great, clean, well maintained and the water was checked regularly, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. We enjoyed the BBQ corner as well as the ping pong table and the garden on several levels. Kostas was a great host, always helpful, friendly and full of great tips for exploring the surroundings. Thank you, Kostas, for the wonderful time, the little gifts and the warm hospitality! We would come back.
