Civil War Farm House w/Heated (seasonal) Pool

Welcome to this historical Civil War Farm House. This stone home built in 1861 by Christian Shriver and was actively used as a field hospital during the war. Mrs Shriver prepared General Reynolds his breakfast on the first day of the battle (which he was killed). The Durboraw's moved here in the early 1890's and have remained here on the farm ever since. Please note, pool is open seasonally mid-May through mid- Sept. Please inquire to its opening/closing if booking around these times.

Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. Peaceful Pines is a beautiful, luxurious mid-century cabin where the main objective is relaxation. Great for a girls weekend, multiple family or generation trips! Plenty of room to stretch out and have your own space. Go hiking, swim at the pools, go golfing, use the projector on the covered porch, curl up in front of the fire with a good book or play board games. Peaceful Pines cabin offers all of that and more. We are less than 2 hours outside of DC, but it feels like a world away.

Welcome to Baltimore! My house has everything you will need for your short or long term visit. It’s walking distance to John's Hopkins hospital, Patterson Park( beauty, tennis courts, basketball courts, good place for running or biking). The house is also very close to Fells Point, Canton ,a $10 Uber to Camden yards and $15 to M&T. I have lots of small kind of useless appliances like a waffle maker and juicer, if you’re into that sort of thing.
