Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Herzlich Willkommen in unserem 130 Jahre alten Fachwerkhaus am Fuße der Wartburg! Einst als Schmiede genutzt, bietet es heute eine familienfreundliche Ferienwohnung mit umfassender Ausstattung. Sie ist zentral in Eisenach gelegen mit kurzen Wegen zum Zentrum, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Touristenattraktionen sowie zur einzigartigen Natur im Thüringer Wald! Unser Kinderzimmer befindet sich direkt über der Ferienwohnung. Wir geben unser bestes, dennoch können entsprechende Geräusche zu hören sein.

The mezzanine apartment is equipped with a king-size bed, sofa bed and crib, washing machine, dishwasher, separate bicycle storage, etc. The southern quarter includes the colonies of Predigerhöhe, Marienhöhe, Karthäuserhöhe, Mariental as well as areas at the Rhododendron Garden and the Waldschänke, the area below the Wartburg.

A relaxing vacation awaits you in a uniquely located and cozy vacation home in Eisenach at the foot of Wartburg. The accommodation offers you a quiet place to relax with stunning views of the valley. Due to the ideal location, it is the starting point for all tourist and cultural highlights in Eisenach (Wartburg, Lutherhaus, Bachhaus, etc.). The hiking trails to the Dragon Gorge and Rennsteig are right outside the front door. There are two parking spaces available.

In the middle of the city and yet quiet. That probably best describes our great big apartment. This can be found in the Wartburg city of Eisenach. All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco World Heritage Site), Bach and Luther House, City Palace, Fraternity Monument, Dragon Gorge and the Automobile Museum are within walking distance. In just 2 minutes to the city center with numerous shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Welcome Kati and Axel Rommel.

The city of Eisenach and the most famous sights can be reached in 2-10 minutes on foot, by car or bus. For everyday life you will find supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The living room is suitable for up to 6 people and offers everything you need for a quiet and relaxing stay in Eisenach.

It has a separate entrance and offers two covered carport parking spaces that can be used free of charge, as well as a barn for (e)bikes and strollers.

Idyllically located on the Lutherweg just outside the city of Eisenach, our Finnhütte is a small retreat for two to a maximum of 5 people, also ideal for families. However, due to the steep stairs, it is not suitable for children under 6 or guests with reduced mobility.
