Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Geratal

Beautiful cozy house with sauna and garden and ideally located to explore the area. We felt super comfortable, the check-in with the key box was very convenient and easy and communication with Diana very friendly and uncomplicated. We would book the Swedish house again right away!

It is a unique opportunity to live in a 500-year-old perfectly renovated old rectory for a while, which we have enjoyed very much.

Excellent, clean and spacious apartment. Loved the area around with the Storks nest and other birds of prey flying around.

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and barbecue. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

We had a wonderful stay in Bettina’s house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was incredibly peaceful. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden for breakfast and dinner admiring the beautiful view. Bettina was very friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions for day trips using the local tourist card. We rather carelessly left a personal possession behind and Bettina very kindly sent it back to us. We would really recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here!

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. In the description, it was only missing that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

Hello, we stayed at Axel and Cindy's apartment for the second time and were mega happy again! It couldn't be better -:) Great location, nice and quiet, this time have also been able to enjoy the great terrace in the sun. We look forward to next time .

I had a great stay in Weimar with my girlfriend. The apartment is nicely decorated. Since it is in the basement, it is of course not quite as bright as normal, but there are decent windows in it and versatile lighting options. Even in rainy weather, we were able to stay there perfectly. However, you always have to go out to eat, because there is no kitchen, but you know that beforehand.

Super central and beautiful place to stay. Perfect for exploring Gotha. The castle and the city centre can be reached in just a few steps. Sabine is very nice and easy to reach. Always happy to come back:)

You felt comfortable from the beginning. Everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail and there are so many beautiful things that you don't expect. This is just pure hospitality and it can be seen how much passion there is in the house and the studio. We'll be back.

We had a nice weekend in the apartment, you can sit very nicely on the quiet terrace, overall it is very quiet. You also have a beautiful view outside from the bed in the attic, which you can reach via a staircase. The kitchen on the ground floor is very well equipped. There is an EDEKA in the village, there are restaurants nearby, but call to be sure. Overall, a very good starting point for tours in the Thuringian Forest. We would like to come back again =)

There were two of us with a toddler and we felt very comfortable. A travel cot fits wonderfully into the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bathroom there are all kinds of utensils in case you forgot something. Communication was flawless and they were always available. The surrounding area is village and quiet. The hosts' sheep can be observed directly from the kitchen and bathroom. A highlight for our daughter. There is free parking is available right in front of the house. We recommend the place and had a nice time. Everything easily accessible from Zeigerheim.

Highly recommended for a study trip as well as a city trip! There is everything you need. Versatile shopping and various restaurants in the area. The train station and city centre are within easy walking distance. Unfortunately, my last longer stay in Schmalkalden for the time being. I will miss it. Thank you and best regards,

Everything is available for your stay. Well-equipped kitchen. Cool freezer, oven and hob. Handy table between kitchen and living room. TV with Netflix, etc. Internet is fine for laptop work. Internet good throughout the apartment. Bedroom and bed thick in order. Easy car parking for the house. Shops nearby. What to do? Within 1 hour's drive Weimar, Erfurt (Saturday market), Gotha and Arnstad, Saalfeld, Coburg. Stopping on the way back and resting in the nature forests, hills and fields. Thuringia has turned out to be a positive surprise, certainly worth repeating.

A super nice apartment in the middle of Weimar. It is super equipped and everything you need is there. The old town flair can be felt here. The roof terrace is also a highlight and clearly sets the apartment apart from others. Communication with Michael was very friendly and helpful and check-in also went smoothly - I'd love to come back.😊

A cozy, charming apartment and warm hosts. We immediately felt comfortable, both in contact with the owners and in the apartment. It all matched the description and images. We loved it.

We had a really nice weekend in the Thuringian Forest! The apartment is quiet, was sparkling clean and really lovingly furnished – just right to switch off and feel good. Silke was really nice and had many good tips for us, which made the stay even more relaxing. We felt really well taken care of and would come back anytime. Absolute recommendation!

We regularly use this accommodation because it is generously sized for three people, has a small breakfast garden, is close to the centre and offers everything we need. We'd also like to come back in 2026.

We felt very comfortable with Lutz and Sabine. They were super friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is quiet and allows many excursions to the nearby area (Gotha, Erfurt,..). The apartment is lovingly decorated and leaves nothing to be desired. Glad to come back!

Super nice apartment with balcony! There were three of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The furnishings in the apartment are also very good, everything we needed for a long weekend was available.
