My friend and I stayed at the accommodation for 5 days and were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment is on the ground floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. The beautiful terrace with a whirlpool is worth highlighting. The location is great. It is about 15 minutes by car to the centre of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is in a quiet location. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine. A few days later, we received fresh vegetables from the garden. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall, we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

Very pleasant stay at Irene's. House very well located in the middle of olive trees and close to many places. Irène is a very welcoming, kind, caring person... we were treated to small specialties when we arrived and when we returned in the evening... i highly recommend. Thank you Irene

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Perfect place to stay while in Chania and exploring Crete. Close to everything but on a charming quiet street tucked away from the noise and crowds. Next to some of the best restaurants in town. Apartment was private, spacious and very clean. AC worked great. WiFi was ok. One thing to note is stairs are steep and second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, up another flight of stairs and , detached and on the rooftop space with a nice seating area and hot tub. Everything was great though and would highly recommend!

If you're looking for a place where you can find peace and get inspired, this is definitely it. I love that this place is an authentic village where you can really experience the local Cretan life. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The house is so interesting with lots of old photos and history. Some of the best beaches are just a few minutes away. I wouldn't recommend Elafonisi, it's really windy and sooo many people. Kedrodasos beach was probably our favourite but be ready for a steep walk up on the way back.

If you wish to experience a secluded garden by a non-travelled beach, almost like your own access to the sea, that is the place. A very good taverna is few meters away. Nothing best to let stress, driving, movida and consumerism behind one's shoulders for some days. Dimitri and his family have created a heaven of peace and a beautiful garden. The holiday-house from their parents is still decorated like in the 80s, but all the essentials are there. The generous welcoming, with a large basket of fruit, olive oil and salad from the herb garden, complete the feeling of coming home. Efkaristò! Many thanks! Rossella

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! A holiday to remember forever for us. Thank you

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We had a wonderful, peaceful & relaxing week in this beautiful house. Amazing location, stylish, spacious, comfortable & very well-equipped. It’s 3 minutes from the small town of Sellia (3 or 4 nice traditional restaurants & small but useful supermarket), 10 minutes from the bigger (seaside town) of Plakias (many restaurants, 2 big supermarkets, butcher & baker), yet out on its own: utterly quiet & private and with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the sea. Cordula - who created this fabulous place, from ground up & with incredible attention to detail, is a perfect host. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful: at all stages proactive, quick & very clear communication and always concerned about our convenience & comfort. Our flight time meant we didn’t arrive until 8pm & Cordula offered to order & collect food from one of the excellent local restaurants & keep it warm in the oven, so after a long & tiring journey our holiday started straightaway. We would love to return.

Fantastic Villa for our family party. Spacious, well equipt and with lovely pool and view. There are nice (and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance too). Neighbourhood was peaceful. We felt very much at home, mainly due to the fantastic hosting. Georgia and Andreas are so friendly. Cheerful , beautiful people. They want to make every part of the stay special. Thank you both! ❤️

Fantastic villa, beautiful rooms & pool area and wonderful and attentive hosts! We had a great time start to finish, and the villa was in a fantastic spot, and couldn’t recommend more! We had a slight issue with the internet being slow so that would be the only thing to bear in mind when booking if you work remote/ need wifi often, the only place we could get connection was the cellar, so I think a couple wifi repeaters would go a long way!

Another big thank you to Giorgos and Maria for their hospitality. A very big sandstorm from the Sahara disrupted everything on the day of our arrival. Our hosts did their best and even the impossible to clean everything and allow us to enjoy the villa in the best conditions. The villa is beautiful. Everything is planned so that we can relax and make the most of it. Full of good intentions, the products available allow you to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I can only recommend the Mythic Olive villa 😊

Sifis is an absolutely exceptional host: proactive, very good advice on activities to do in the area, where to eat and also super nice :-) He is very responsive, we wrote regularly. The accommodation was impeccable in terms of cleanliness and it lacked nothing, which is very appreciable. The garden is beautiful and the view sublime. This is the best AirBnb experience we've had to date. We will return as soon as possible in view of the quality of the accommodation and the host. Thank you very much Sifis and see you soon :-)

Words and photos cannot describe the beauty of this place. We had an absolutely magical visit. The home is comfortable and very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Stella was the perfect host. She was so kind and thought of everything you might need. Make sure to follow her recommendations for restaurants as they were amazing. Absolute bliss. This house is in the beautiful Topolia, a small town on the road to the popular Elafonissi Beach. The actual house is perfect—clean, save, good bathroom, kitchen and stunning view. The bakery and taverns in town are amazing. Much better food than near the beaches. Try the classic crete food and enjoy the wonderful view.

The location is stunning. Right on the beach with gorgeous views from the living room and bedrooms!

A gorgeous boho chic, well designed apartment. The host and her husband were so very welcoming and gave great advice, some of the restaurants she recommended were really good and we visited a few gorgeous beaches on their recommendation too. Everything you need in a holiday home! We had a car to explore but you could walk to lots of good local restaurants or hop on the bus. The hosts own restaurants was very good too. The outside areas and pool was really nice. We never had a bad meal and would definitely return to beautiful Crete and her very chic comfortable apartment ☺️☀️

We enjoyed our entire stay! From the minute we got there, until we left Joanna was easily reachable and the property is fantastic. We hope to be back again!
