Welcome! Manebach is a district of the Goethe and university town of Ilmenau, idyllically located on the northern slope of the Thuringian Forest. Located on the outskirts of town in the immediate vicinity of the forest, our cottage is your starting point for numerous activities in the immediate vicinity as well as for excursions to the cultural sites of Thuringia. Well-maintained and well-signposted hiking and biking trails as well as good highway connections and regional train and bus connections.

The cozy house with a wood-burning fireplace, Finnish sauna and a bedroom with a hot tub is perfect for a romantic time for two, but with 100 square meters also offers enough space for families with children or a meeting with friends. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Tabarz in a quiet location, close to the forest. The house has a garden with terrace and small pool (diameter 5 m, 1.20 m deep). The pool is not heated, so it is the perfect way to cool off after the sauna or sunbathing.

The idyllically located cottage with a size of about 50 square meters has a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and space for two people. The cozy cottage is located in the beautiful health resort of Finsterbergen, right on the edge of the forest and very close to the Rennsteig (5km). Because of the location, it provides an ideal starting point for extensive hikes. The forest bath with volleyball, mini golf and the tennis court are about 200 m away.

The 90 sqm holiday home offers a living room with open kitchen on two floors, as well as a bedroom with adjoining dressing room and a bathroom. The generously equipped kitchen offers the possibility to completely cater to yourself. The comfortable bedroom is equipped with a 1.80 m wide double bed. If necessary, another sleeping place can be quickly arranged on the foldaway bed. As a special highlight, there is a sauna in the vacation home.

The house is modern and the garden offers plenty of space for free development. Perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof in the winter months, and great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more for the rest of the year. The sauna and hot tub need preparation. If you want to use it, please let us know after booking. We also have a pool that you can use in the summer by arrangement.

Our vacation home on the Inselsberg is located on the outskirts of the climatic health resort of Bad Tabarz with magnificent views of the countryside. Right at the foot of the Inselsberg, it is an ideal starting point for excursions and hikes. The detached cottage extends over 54 m² on two levels and has a separate entrance with a wardrobe in the vestibule. From there you can also access the garden, which you are welcome to use.

Welcome. Our 150 square meter holiday home, in Sundhausen, can accommodate 1 to a maximum of 12 people in total. Both identically furnished apartments can be booked and used separately as well as together. These 2025 built and modernly furnished apartments, each of 75 square meters, offer a place for stays alone, as a couple, with family or friends, short trips, business trips, and much more, in a rural area.
