Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Geneva-on-the-Lake

Great place for family get away. Good location, clean, bright and spacious. The kitchen was roomy, had everything we needed and was perfect for playing games. We had a group of 8 adults and had plenty of room. We all agreed we would definitely come back

Most of my family and friends I normally visit are in the area. Sarah’s place was convenient and worked well for my family.

This was the perfect getaway for my in-law to use when visiting us for a long weekend. Not only was it just as depicted on the post, but it was easy for someone with limited mobility. The hosts even stopped in just before check-in to light the wood stove so the cabin would be cozy upon arrival. We could not have asked for better hosts or property, we would give 10 stars if able to!

Wendy's Lakehouse was exactly what my husband and I needed for our mini-retreat after our daughter's wedding. We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted when we arrived; but after a couple of days of complete quiet and privacy in the house, walking and laying on the private beach, listening to the water, watching the sunsets, and basking in the fresh Lake Erie breezes: we felt restored and refreshed. The only thing that disappointed us was that we couldn't stay longer... life rolls on! 😅 Within hours of our arrival we were making plans to return- next time with our 4 sons- as soon as possible! We even were dreaming about bringing future grandkids in years to come! 🥰 Thank you, Wendy, for providing this peaceful retreat!

The cottage was cozy and comfortable, and even in poor weather the view was spectacular! The space was just as described and the host was very helpful and gave clear and helpful instructions. I plan to go back again!

We booked Caitlin’s place very last minute, and it was perfect! The property is beautiful and serene, and so close to the wineries. We are so happy with our stay!

Jill was an excellent host, and her place was perfect for a short getaway. She provided everything we needed for our lakeside trip. The views were spectacular, and the location, between Conneaut and Ashtabula, was ideal for accessing restaurants and wineries. We enjoyed the Easter decorations, the fireplace, and the hot tub. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and my wife slept soundly. The heated mattress was also a welcome addition during the cold weekend. While we wish we could have experienced it in the summer, it was still a beautiful weekend getaway. I really appreciated you opening your home to us and I hope to come back again in the future! We wanted a last minute getaway and happened upon this available cabin. How lucky we were to snag this little gem? It was 30 minutes from our house, an easy drive and GREAT hosts!!! They started the wood burning stove prior to arrival so we were warm. The cabin is maybe 1/2 miles from a great little restaurant that serves everything to satisfy what you are craving! You know what is crazy? We were their last booking for year before closing up the cabin! Bring your clothes, toothbrush and food. Everything else is there for you - flashlights, hand sanitizer, warm blankets, pillows, paper towels, a cold fridge, silverware, pots/pans. Yep, everything. Can't wait to visit in the spring and early summer to enjoy the longer days. Thank you, Sharon and Ben!!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our Anniversary weekend! It was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was close to many wineries and Patricia had great suggestions. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was very clean. Patricia was a wonderful host. I would definitely recommend this place!
