My experience with David was 10/10, he was very easy to communicate with and helped us out with anything we needed throughout the entire stay.

We loved our stay at the cottage over an extended Easter weekend. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (teenage son, my wife and sister-in-law). We went there to get away, enjoy nature and each other and the mission was 100% accomplished! Jennifer's gardens are beautiful and the birds sang to us each morning and evening and all day. We got a tour of their yard and gardens and saw the chickens whose eggs Jennifer shared with us. Also, we loved the art around the cottage. They have some great paintings hanging in there as well as board games and books. I take day trips to the area often to visit some wildlife areas and it was so nice to be close by and easily visit those areas for sunrise and sunset. We all really enjoyed our stay . Kitchen was well-supplied. We were comfy and happy.

Perfect house for a small family Thanksgiving trip! Private location and they probably have the best boat dock in the cove. We really appreciated that the lot was flat from the house to the dock. The deck was huge and had plenty of room for seating and the ping pong table. We got great use out of the fire-pit. The house was cozy and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the double living rooms and the games they had at the home. Would definitely come back and would certainly recommend.

What a peaceful and beautiful home! Andrew was very responsive and helpful. Home is quiet, comfortable, and was very well stocked. I could tell Andrew put a lot of thought into accommodating guests. We loved spending time at the dock and can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer. Highly recommend!

Donnell is an excellent host, easy to work with, communication was great, home is rural but exactly what we needed.

Our 3-night stay at Legacy Lodge Bunkhouse in Windsor, NC, was a delightful escape to celebrate my wife’s and son’s birthdays. The bunkhouse kept our two kids entertained with games, toys, an air hockey table, and bunk beds our son adored. Outside, a mini paradise awaited: multiple fire pits (unlimited wood for $30, highly recommended), play areas, and a covered concrete space perfect for rollerblading and scootering. We enjoyed the wood-fired pizza oven and grilled steaks, though the propane grill needs a deep clean. The thoughtful birthday gifts and decorations for our son, plus a “Honk, it’s my birthday!” sign by host Deena (explaining the passing cars’ honks), added such a warm touch. This peaceful retreat is ideal for families or anyone seeking serenity. We’d absolutely recommend it!

This was an absolute beautiful place. Everything was exactly exactly like the description super clean. Everything you needed was right there highly recommend if you’re in the area to look at this property. I definitely will be staying here again next time I’m down this way. It’s perfect. You’re far enough away from the city but yet close enough to everything you need.
