The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

A delightful self-contained cottage. The gite is set in six acres of beautiful garden and private woodland and boasts a year-round diversity of flowering shrubs and trees rich in birdsong. British owners Peter and Tom welcome groups of up to six people. There is also potential to accommodate an additional two guests (plus child) in an adjoining room with private bathroom. Quietly located, this two bedroom apartment is very easy to access will seduce you for your hikes and walks around Lake St Férreol, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. No smoking, but an outside space is available. Pets not allowed, Thank you for understanding. Our place is equipped with a Dolce gusto coffee machine,as well as a kettle and toaster . The beds are made upon arrival and towels are at your disposal.
