I had an excellent time staying here! The view was incredible and the amenities available made everything easy and relaxing. The privacy and remoteness of the spot was wonderful, made it feel like it was just us and nature. I loved this location and will definitely consider coming back here for future getaways!

Just a beautiful stay, in a peaceful spot in the Tassie south. We came down for a weekend visit from Hobart and loved every second of the stay. Within easy reach of Cygnet, Verona Sands, and peppered in farm visits in the country. Peaceful setting in a sweet, little house and comfortable amenities and bed. We spent our days popping around the area and our evenings enjoying the cabin and the surroundings. Could not recommend this spot enough.

Absolutely blown away by our stay, everything was perfection. Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable and beautiful escape! We can't wait to return some day!

The property is exactly like the pictures, and so well thought out with everything you need for a weekend away. Provisions are provided with an excellent dinner and wine. Highly recomend, would stay again!

We had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful property in the Huon Valley. The place is a real hidden gem, offering the perfect mix of seclusion and comfort. It’s tucked away in nature, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We celebrated my partner’s birthday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Johnnie, our host, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care went into ensuring guests feel welcome and comfortable. He was always just a message away if we needed anything, but also gave us plenty of space to unwind. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot bathtub—what a treat! After a day of exploring the valley, soaking in the warm water with a glass of wine was the ultimate relaxation. Overall, this was the perfect spot to escape, unwind, and celebrate something special. We’re already talking about when we can return🤗🤗

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bon Marché. It is a spacious and beautiful home with lovely gardens and great amenities for kids as well, including a cubby house and trampoline. We were travelling with a 5 year old and 8 week old and found the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was impeccably clean and even smelled amazing. It has top end appliances and lovely bath products. The location is great, within walking distance of Burton’s reserve and the Cygnet town centre. David is a perfect host providing detailed and clear instructions. He’s friendly and responsive. Overall this was a perfect Airbnb experience and we would recommend Bon Marché for anyone looking for a luxurious and family friendly stay in the Huon. We’d love to come back sometime for a longer visit.

We stayed at Surveyors cottage with our two young kids age 4 and 3, it was a very unique stay, beautiful location right on the water facing east so you can watch the morning sunrise from the breakfast bar and then let the sun heat up the house in winter. We were welcomed to a WARM house, so cosy and nice to be welcomed like that with fresh bread, butter and jam. This cottage has great heating elements and is beautifully laid out for family connection and connection to outdoors with the views. We went for a kayak using the provided kayak and the local canoe and we had seals swimming within 2 metres of us. This was a very memorable and special experience. There was a bike for our 4y/o to use and he loved it. Surveyors bay is a beautiful place to just soak up the beauty and have quality family time, cook home cooked meals and enjoy the beauty that this special place is. We loved just going for a walk down to the boat ramp/beach, watching boats go by and we even swam. Highly recommend.
