Mansion holiday rentals in Garden District, New Orleans

The house is a dream in every aspect. There were five of us ranging in age from 77 to 87 and having private bathrooms with WALK-IN showers was wonderful. We easily walked the block and 1/2 to catch the streetcar to the Quarter, to well known restaurants, and the WWII Museum. Had not made reservations for the 1st night and Erich suggested Lula Distillery on St. Charles. Short walk, dined outside and the food was excellent. We felt perfectly safe and were sad to say goodbye to this amazing renovated gem.

We’ve stayed in 157 Airbnbs around the world, and this might just be the best one yet. From the moment we booked, everything was seamless. Alleshia was responsive, warm and quick to help when we had a small hiccup with the passcode at check-in. She even checked in the next day to make sure everything was perfect, and also pointed us to some incredible local spots we’d never have found on our own. The house itself? Stunning. Soaring high ceilings, immaculately clean, beautifully styled and absolutely enormous. Every one of the four bedrooms has its own en-suite, the beds are super comfy, and there was wine and mezcal waiting for us in the fridge. (Yes please.) We honestly didn’t want to leave, and can’t recommend this place highly enough. If it’s available, book it. You won’t regret it.

Great place to stay! The host’s stay in the other side of the duplex, so they’re on hand to take care of anything. The pool is amazing after walking around the French Quarter all afternoon!

The place was perfect for our needs, hosting out-of-town guests for the weekend. We put two families in the main house together. A few of the bedrooms connect or are pass-throughs, so this worked well for people who are familiar with each other. Even still, almost everyone had their own well-appointed bathroom and very comfortable beds. There are another two stand alone rooms with ensuite bathrooms by the pool as well that have lots of privacy. It's a fun and funky sprawling house, and we were able to pay an event fee to have a few additional guests over for a pool party, which was really perfect and a unique opportunity, as this is not possible at many properties. Daniel and Lauren were very accommodating, helpful and communicative.

We had originally booked the house to house 8-10 people. In the end, only 6 people came, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. This house will make memories for every guest that books it — guaranteed. Gave a speak-easy feel which were both soulful and presented a relaxed environment. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at one of Thomas' properties, and we had another great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, and has everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Thomas was very accommodating with check-in time and our last-minute request for a pack n' play -- a fantastic host! We found the neighborhood very friendly, and enjoyed the proximity to the Lafitte Greenway (access is just a block away -- we didn't even realize this when we rented the place!) and local businesses like Flour Moon and the Broadside. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend this home enough for your New Orleans stay! The house is beautiful and spacious enough to fit 10 comfortably. Zach, the concierge, was incredibly communicative and friendly. Also, very walkable to great restaurants!

We had an amazing time staying here. The place is actually way bigger than it seems in all the pictures. It is also walking distance to amazing restaurants and bars. Highly recommend staying here!

The place was very clean and spacious. The hosts were very responsive and flexible with allowing us to check in early and check out later. We enjoyed our stay!

We live the location of this house, close to the levee and the ferry and walkable to a great wood-fired pizza restaurant, taco stands, and coffeehouses. The house itself is quaint and comfortable.

The home was easy to find parking was great. Each room had their own full bath.

My family and I throughly enjoyed staying here. We loved that each room had its own bathroom and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location was amazing. We were less than 20 mins for every place we wanted to visit. Our host, Bailey was extremely helpful and friendly. We would love to return here to stay during our next visit to NOLA.

It was perfect

Very nice house! It was very spacious and comfortable. It’s near a Walmart and other fast food places so getting food and other things was easy. About 20 minutes from the city in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean upon arrival. Nice security system so we felt safe the whole stay.

We had a truly special weekend at the Harlot House. The decor is so beautiful and everyday I noticed a new detail. It wasn’t too noisy on our street and we felt very safe. We had fun going out at night and lounging by the pool during the day. I don’t think I could recommend this place more! The whole team of people that take care of this place were super responsive and helpful, they had some great neighborhood recs for us. Would 100 percent stay there again!

Overall, we had a great experience here. Any questions or concerns were addressed quickly and thoroughly. The place was clean and well stocked. It’s very close to many of the areas we needed to get to, and it felt safe & secure.

This place is fantastic! I strongly recommend to anyone traveling to New Orleans with a group. Lots of space and great amenities. Chloe was super-responsive and helpful.

This home is such a wonderful place to enjoy your time in New Orleans! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and cozy place to stay. Plus, it's just a quick 3-minute drive from Walmart. I absolutely love it!

We had a great time, the place was super cute and host was super communicative. There were a couple things wrong with the backyard but it was also pretty rough weather the night before we got there so no worries for real! Super responsive and communicative tho. If staying with a large group definitely worth the price!

Quiet location away from the busy French Quarter but easily accessible by street car. Close to a major street so some road noise audible in the living room and dining room. However, due to the shotgun style of house not much noise in the back bedrooms. Beds very comfortable, linens were soft and bathrooms were in excellent condition. Kitchen well stocked with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Appreciated the water bottles and soda in the fridge available on check in. Pool and hot tub were well maintained by hired pool service that came during our stay. Would return in the future.

Spencer's place was fantastic! A very nicely decorated space, and we had everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest be added are cleaning supplies so guests can tidy bathroom and kitchen after use during the stay. Great experience, highly recommend!

A group of my friends and I stay at Var’s place for Memorial Day Weekend. The house was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and the back deck was very comfortable. We were a quick 10 minute uber ride to the French Quarter which was very practical. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great Airbnb in Nola!
