The second time we had the opportunity to spend our vacation in the "Schwalbennest Husemann." Information, such as availability and then key box code, was exchanged in advance. Communication with Anita and Ingo is straightforward and direct. As with the first time, nothing was missing in this beautiful, quietly located apartment: the apartment has everything you need - even for a longer stay. A beautiful bedroom with TV and another sleeping option (sofa bed) accessible via a spiral staircase. A sparkling clean, beautiful bathroom (spacious shower and toilet with sink) is just as characteristic of the Bijoux as the cozy sitting area with hi-fi system and a multifunctional kitchen (with dishwasher) located in the basement. There is a washing machine in a side room. The personal touch was accompanied by the warm welcome of the Superhosts.

Franziska is a superhost in every sense of the word. Her apartment is modern, exactly as described. It is located in a quit, residential area, a little Swiss village, not far from Zürich. There is everything you might need for shorter and longer stays. The car park is right outside the apartment, very close to the accommodation and safe. The bed is comfortable, I really enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Communication with Franziska is as easy it can be, she is keen to help with a travelers small problems. She is a humorous and friendly person which makes the stay a pleasure. If you want to explore this part of Switzerland, this is the place to stay. Easy choice next time I will be around, very highly recommendable!

It was great to spend a week in the historic district of Laufenburg, on the German side, and to be able to walk with our dogs, cross the bridge 200 m from the apartment, and find ourselves in the historic center of Swiss Laufenburg. Think of the many farms nearby that offer their fruits, vegetables, cheeses, yogurts, eggs etc., including the Bauernhof Kammererer in Murg (3 km from the apartment) where you will find a point of sale and a terrace where you can enjoy sandwiches, desserts and drinks. Otherwise, simply contemplating this magical point of the Rhine from the balcony is an unforgettable pleasure.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The location, apartment and balcony are fantastic! Home is just a 5-minute walk to the Rhine river, perfect for morning jogs or peaceful walks. You can easily reach the Swiss side (Bad Zurzach train station) in about 15–20 minutes on foot. The place is tucked away from heavy traffic, so it’s very quiet and feels secluded, which I loved. A couple of things to note: the internet speed is a bit slow, but I had unlimited Swisscom mobile internet, so it wasn’t an issue for me. Also, you can occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs (even in the bedroom), but the neighbors were always respectful and quiet after 22:00. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, the nature, the air, the peaceful vibe… everything was perfect for me to concentrate on work. And ofcause communication with the host was very lovely. Highly recommended!
