Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Galway

Our stay with Evelyn was lovely warm and very pleasant. The place is located just by the greenway which was very handy! House has its character and charm and is beautiful. We were looked after all the time but also had our privacy. We would come back here with pleasure.

If you are looking for a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life you’ll find it here. The area is quiet & peaceful, although the kitchen is shared space we mostly had it to ourselves. It was a nice space to interact with new people if you wish. The parking was a bit tight with several cars making it a bit challenging to get out of the tight driveway.

This does exactly what it says on the tin plus a little more. Breakfast was really good, with a nice fruit medley thrown in. Immediately across the road from the house is a car-free running/cycleway that leads for about 2 miles in towards the town of Clifden. For a runner like me that really set this place apart cos running with cars on Irish country roads is scary otherwise.

Lorraine went above and byond. She was super helpful and friendly, allowing me to leave my bags before check in time. The room was comfortable, quiet and safe, and her house was just a couple of blocks away from Eyre Square in Galway. She made homemade scones for breakfast, too!

We had a fantastic stay in Pam’s! We were lucky our room was available early to check-in, although early bag drop was available if not. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you could need for a stay including tea, coffees, and toiletries! The location is ideal overlooking the sea, less than 10 min walk to Galway city and a lovely 20 min stroll to Salthill promenade. The breakfast and friendly hospitality was the cherry on top with fresh scones, bread, jams and full Irish/French toast, we were spoiled! We were really happy with our stay, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Mary’s Bed & Breakfast was charming, and so was she! Kind and responsive host who welcomed me personally into her home. She was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure my stay went smoothly. The stay includes a small bedroom with a simple bathroom, and access to the downstairs living room area with plush couches and an well decorated eating area. Walkable to the Cliffs of Moher. Would absolutely stay again!

Deliziosa camera di fronte ad una vista spettacolare, delle onde dell'oceano che si infrangono sulla spiaggia. Vicinissimo alle Cliffs of Moher e alla partenza del Trail a Doolin. Sinead e la sua famiglia sono stati gentilissimi e ci hanno lasciato anche tutto l'occorrente per fare colazione. La camera ed il bagno erano spaziosi e puliti. Consigliatissimo!!

Logement très agréable pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Nous y avons séjourné seulement une nuit, très agréable et de bon repos 😊.

Le plaisir de l'accueil, de la conversation et de la découverte d'autrui, nous l'avons trouvé chez Maura. Nous nous sommes sentis bien, dès le seuil de sa maison. Elle nous a reçus avec chaleur et simplicité. Nous étions comme chez nous dans la douceur de son foyer. Et nous avions envie de rester longtemps, longtemps. La maison de Maura est très bien située pour découvrir les falaises de Moher, parcourir le Burren, embarquer pour les îles d'Aran, monter jusque Galway... Merci à Maura, à son époux et caressés au chat.

Had a great stay on Inishmeain as always. Martin is a lovely man who will look after you while you explore this beautiful island.

Linda is an excellent hostess. She and her two very well-behaved dogs welcomed us with great warmth. Linda is a very friendly person, really nice to talk to. Beautiful accommodation, very clean, with refined personal care products and excellent breakfast.

Sandra fue muy amable y nos dió buenos consejos de la zona, buen lugar para alojarse cerca de Galway, parada en ruta muy aprovechada y con un alojamiento muy cómodo, además tuvimos un pequeño desayuno. Gracias Sandra!

We had a beautiful stay at Clifden Bay Lodge B&B. Exactly as decribed and shown in the pictures. Frédérique is a wonderful kind host who provides a beautiful breakfast as you look over the water. The house and room was perfect with a very clean, spacious bathroom en suite. Its a short 4.3 km ride to a town with lots of shops and pubs. We would definitely return.

Alors comment dire nous n’avons pas de mot pour décrire notre séjour chez Kerstin, la maison la chambre l’environnement un petit paradis sans parler du petit déjeuner digne d’un hôtel 5 étoiles !! Et Kerstin est un amour et comme dit dans les commentaires elle devrait etre ambassadrice de Airbnb !!

Très bien accueilli, une chambre très propre et confortable,un très bon état copieux petit déjeuner, des hôtes accueillants ,nous recommandons vivement !

Marie Louise was an excellent host - friendly, responsive, kind. Would definitely book here again if ever in the area.

Eimhin and Jonny’s place was incredible. While I only stayed one night, I felt right at home. The breakfast was complete with parfaits, toast, coffee, juice, cereal, and a cheese, quiche, and scone plate prepared for each guest. What a thoughtful addition! The recommendations and instructions were helpful and thorough, and Jonny even gave me a lift to the bus stop so I didn’t have to lug my bags. I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. If you’re looking to stay near the cliffs, look no further - this place was an absolute dream.

We‘ve enjoyed our stay in the stylish B&B. Great room with a very good bed. The breakfast was very nice and Kevin was very helpful with recommendations.

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

Wir waren mehr wie begeistert von der Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit von Noel und Patricia. Gleich bei unserer Ankunft begrüßte uns Lucy, die sich über unsere Streicheleinheiten sehr freute. Das Frühstück wurde von den beiden sehr liebevoll zubereitet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Noel und Patricia gaben uns viele Tipps für Restaurants und Wanderungen und versorgten uns mit wertvollen Wissen über die irische Geschichte. Wenn wir wieder nach Irland kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder bei den beiden wohnen!

Kevin and Sokha are great hosts. The place is super cute and very comfortable. Could not have asked for a better experience. And the freaking scones that Sokha makes are amazing!
