Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fyresdal Municipality

We loved our holiday. We didn't do a great deal of exploring, just enjoyed the snow. There's enough of a hill immediatelyoutside the front door for a bit of sledging, and fantastic mountain views while in the hot tub.

5 star experience. we had a wonderful stay and new year eve' s celebration at Siva's cabin. comfortable, beautiful views and the hot tub was icing on the cake.

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

Amazing place to stay! Lovely views thru the windows, loved the fire place in the living room! Very spacious house, enough space for a bigger group of people. Loved it!

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

The four of us had a wonderful, relaxing stay here for two nights. The house is much, much more beautiful than the photos suggest and it is equipped with really everything you need. The location is adorable, the stove spreads a cozy atmosphere and the house smells great of wood. The sauna was the cherry on the cake and a treat especially in the rain. We would come back anytime! It should be noted that you have to clean it yourself. You should plan some time for this (e.g. to wash). Thanks for the great experience!!

We, 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs, had a wonderful week in Lise's house where nothing is missing. The view is wonderful and the tranquility is a treat! I can recommend the place to anyone without restriction. We will be happy to come back.

We were on tembuilding and enjoyed two days, despite bad weather. The place is suitable for many, even if you have to be inside. Everything was tidy and ready when we arrived, and we have got quick answers to what we were wondering about ahead of time. Have already decided to come back

We had a wonderful stay at Annika's mountain hut. It was a beautiful area and we had everything we needed on site. If we had any questions, Annika always responded promptly and had quick solutions for us. Everything was very straightforward. We highly recommend Annika as a host.

Wonderful host who also replied to our questions instantly, wow. The house had everything that was needed in including warm water. Great for fishing because the best fishing rivers were just 20/30 minutes away. The host was always very generous and helpful, even if we had 1000s of questions. So thank you!

We have spent one week in the cabin of Aart to enjoy the tranquility and go skiing a bit. The cabin is high standard and the location is unashamed with amazing nature. Aart has described everything from directions to practical information in detail so nothing was left to chance. The cabin is very practical and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Very nice and helpful host. Communicates well and responds quickly

The house is really very nice. Location is also beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Since we were there in winter, the cottage village was barely inhabited and we were mostly alone there. Shopping is available in 20-30min by car. In the summer you will certainly be able to use even more hiking opportunities. In winter, there are many km of tracked trails just a few minutes from the house. You should be informed in advance about where to get wood right now, because availability is constantly changing at the moment. Depending on the weather, snow chains can be very helpful. The driveway to the house is quite steep and was completely required with us so we had to park the first days below the house. The communication with Harald and the cottage caretaker was flawless and here we got both tips for excursion destinations and tips on how to buy wood.

Great extended family stay Easter 2024 in Cathrine's cabin! Plenty of space for 7 adults and 4 children. Amazing kitchen and living amenities for all ages. Very nice cabin! Recommended!

Great place! Our second visit and we loved it!

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

The house is beautifully situated with a stunning view. It was all there and great.

We had a terrific stay. The house is spacious and comfortable and clean. Great to be able to use the laundry. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

We had a lovely winter holiday in Vrådal, the cabin was perfect for us. Short walking distance to the ski center and children's piste. The cabin is homely, warm and nice. Good outdoor areas, with tables and chairs, fire pit and shelter. Håvard was a great host, and attentive with messages at check-in. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
