Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Furnas

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

Alloggio “villa mirante” fantastico. Gli spazi interni sono perfettamente progettati con finiture di qualità. Grande attenzione ai dettagli. Ampio giardino e solarium in copertura privato. Massima privacy. Se cercate una casetta dallo stile minimalista, con ampie vetrate, che vi faccia sentire in contatto con la natura esterna, questo è il posto giusto.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is lovely and the view is gorgeous. It was the perfect home base for our adventures in the Azores!

We had a truly fantastic stay at Chez Marie! We could not have been happier with the house, the location, and Marie’s friendly and responsive hosting. The house is lovely inside and out, with beautiful stone and plaster work inside, stunning views from every window, and a beautiful back garden where we enjoyed our coffee while watching the sun rise over the mountains every morning. The location is also perfect - easily walkable to everything in Furnas but outside of the town center enough to be completely peaceful and quiet. The town of Furnas itself very charming with plenty to do and see, and centrally located great so a place to launch adventures all around São Miguel. Marie is a terrific host! We really appreciated her helpful recommendations of restaurants, sights and activities, and her quick and friendly responses to our questions. We loved our trip so much we are already dreaming of when we can come back to the Azores, and we would love to stay at Chez Marie again.

My family and I stayed for a week, they left and then friends joined me for a week - so 2 weeks in all. The pool was cool (it was january) but some did try. The hot tub was fabulous and was enjoyed by everyone. The house is spacious and perfectly clean and tidy with good supplies. The owners and the cleaning service were very helpful and responsive to any messages which was appreciated. The island is wonderful and we loved everywhere we visited.

We had a perfect stay in Vitor's beautiful and spacious house. It is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Vitor is a wonderful host. Since our flight had a delay we arrived quite late and even got some food from Vitor. It was a great experience and we can fully recommend Vitor's house.

Very nice apartment with an amazing view from the upstairs terrace. Easy walk to waterfall and small beach. Had a great time!

Stayed almost 3 weeks for work. Second trip to Ponta Delgada and first time stay in the center of town. It was very calm, in spite of being on the main paved street. Host is very easy to communicate with and always ready to help. . Kitchen is well equipped, I cooked a meal there everyday. Supermarket a few steps away. Great location. Easy street parking right around the corner (small plaza next to the high school, always found spots there). Fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood and walking distance to the coliseum (great concerts). I loved staying there and would not hesitate to come back

Very comfortable two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment made family visit comfortable for everyone. So helpful to have washing machine. Space heaters were efficient for the cool, rainy days since there is no central air or heat. Beds comfortable. Sofia is very responsive when we faced a minor issue and it was immediately addressed. Great views of the Atlantic from the deck. Super place, great host, we will be back!

Wir verbrachten 1 tolle Woche im Penthouse. Maria ist eine Gastgeberin mit viel Herzblut. Obwohl wir fast um Mitternacht angekommen sind, hat sie uns mit viel Herzlichkeit und Wärme empfangen und hat die ganze Woche sofort auf unser Nachrichten reagiert. Das Penthouse ist ideal gelegen. Zu Fuss nahe beim Einkaufcenter, zum Hafen ist es auch nicht weit. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell auf der Umfahrungsstrasse. Wenn das Wetter mal nicht mitspielt ist es ein wunderbarer, heller Rückzugsort mit Blick über die ganze Stadt.

Our stay at this charming farm in Ribeira Grande was such a memorable experience. The property itself had so much character, with a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What truly set this stay apart was the warmth and generosity of the host, who welcomed us with homemade guava drink, bolo lêvedo, and delicious jams, such a thoughtful way to share the flavors of the Azores. Every corner of the farm felt special, with a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort. It was the kind of place that invites you to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature and good company. We only stayed for two days, but it was enough to leave a lasting impression. We would absolutely love to return and experience it all again!

It was our first trip to the island and we stayed our first 3 days at the Margarida house and it did not disappoint. Alvaro was extremely helpful and responsive with the entire process to make sure everything went smoothly. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and it was topped off with a little basket of local gifts with snacks and coffee pods. It was like staying at home with the apartment being so well prepared with towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, panini press, wine opener, coffee maker and fully stocked kitchen. There is also a side table filled with local activities and great recommendations of restaurants in a little culinary booklet of Ribiera Grande. Great value for a space that’s in the heart of the island with easy access to the airport and many beautiful spots to visit within a 30 minute drive. Thanks for the great stay !

Le logement était magnifique, tout à fait conforme aux descriptions et photos. Panier de bienvenue très apprécié, comprenant du vin, biscuits, eau, pain, confiture, café, thé. Le garage était un gros plus. La terrasse était très jolie quoiqu’il a fait plutôt froid et pluvieux pendant notre séjour, donc nous n’avons pas pu l’utiliser. Bonnes recommandations de restaurants et de visites des hôtes.

It was such an amazing space to call home for the limited time that we were there!!!! Great location, spotless, with meaningful touches. The stand out was the incredible view!!!! And the hosts were incredibly attentive.

We loved Isabel’s historic, spotlessly clean apartment with access to a private outdoor door space. It was in the old part of town and with in walking distance to museums, harbour, and market. Isabel was gracious and accommodating. We loved our stay here.

Mon épouse et moi avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sara, notre hôte était très réactive et amicale pour répondre à toutes nos questions! Bel appartement en plein cœur de la ville de Ponta Delgada qui était très agréable à découvrir en marchant! Toutes les commodités étaient à distance de marche. Appartement très joli dans un immeuble hyper tranquille! Nous avons bien échangé avec Sarah et les conversations ont toujours été très cordiales. N ou us y retournerions sans hésiter si nous passons à nouveau aux Açores!

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Excellent séjour dans l'appartement. Il est grand et lumineux, belles vues, très bien situé à quelques minutes à pieds de la Praia do Populo. En ce qui concerne l'accès, la voie rapide est à quelques minutes. L'immeuble dispose de plus d'un parking clos. Les chambres sont claires et disposent de beaucoup de rangement, les matelas sont confortables et des chauffages sont à disposition (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas aux Açores). La cuisine est vaste et bien équipée avec un grand frigo et un congélateur, il y a aussi un très beau salon avec terrasse . La salle de douche était même garnie avec shampooing et gel douche, sans compter les serviettes en quantité. Excellent point pour la réactivité du propriétaire qui a toujours répondu rapidement et précisément à mes questions. En bref je recommande

Gorgeous home with breathtaking views, modern, clean, well kept, well appointed. Laundry a plus. Had eggs and wine available to us at check in! Parking is a little tricky to get through the gate and orient the car so that it is easier to drive out but we figured it out quickly. Great location near airport and restaurants. Luis was very proactive about towels and linens.

We loved our stay at Sara's place. The location is central but not on a main road. You can easily explore Ponta Delgada on foot. A free parking lot is just minutes away. We would definitely stay there again!

João and Rita were some of the most helpful and caring hosts I’ve ever stayed with! Their place was absolutely perfect in a great location and I’m super grateful for my time in Ponta Delgada 💗💗
