Amazing stay with great, communicative hosts!! João gave us superb recommendations around the area and answered all of our questions promptly. Location is very central and close to the market and water. Would stay here again!

Absolutely perfect place in the centre of the old town of Funchal. It could not have been more perfect. Spotlessly clean, fantastically equipped kitchen, black-out curtains and keyless entry. Hosts were great and replied extremely quickly. Would stay here again in a flash. Yes, as a Central location, you can hear the city noises but that was to be expected and remedied with ear plugs easily. I stayed here on my own and so the bed was fine, but two large people might struggle. I think it was a standard double. I felt extremely at home here and it was so good to be able to pop in and out, throughout the day or a rest or a refresh.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I can’t actually express in words how much we loved this property and its location. It was just perfect in every way. We didn’t use the kitchen as we ate out however it had everything we would have needed had we stayed in. Everything was beautifully presented and clean and exactly as pictured. For us it was a perfect location as it was a walk from the sometimes busy centre next to a beautiful park, away from noisy roads. Parking was available later on which meant we could park up and forget about the car for the entire stay. Tânia met us there and was lovely, she was super helpful. This is possibly the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!!! Matched by being close to some of the best fooderies we have ever eaten in. KAMPO is the best restaurant by far…Please book this property and enjoy everything it offers and what you have around you.

We stayed at the property for a week and felt very much at home. The location is very central and you are immediately in the city but also on the promenade. Communication was always good and we were quickly helped with questions. We would also book the place a second time. :)
