Condo holiday rentals in Funchal

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Funchal. The space was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal: quiet but still within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Check-in was smooth, and the host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madeira!

The accommodation convinces with the fantastic view - at breakfast and dinner we enjoyed the view very much! Unfortunately, the nearby main street is louder than expected. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, especially the washing machine, which we were very happy to use during our longer stay, in the kitchen you can also cook a little more extensively. The apartment is attractively furnished, but in some places it is a bit outdated. The apartment is outside the city, you should definitely have a rental car, but you can reach some great hiking starting points by car a little faster.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a great location. We enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay here again! The big balcony was our favourite part, and the check in instructions were so easy. Loved it!

The apartment was is a quiet neighborhood and the view was exceptional. The communication with Vasco was easy and quick.

We had a pleasant stay at Julie's. A very pleasant, available, responsive and caring host. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life, with a magnificent view. It offers two terraces, one shared with the other apartments with a superb view and deckchairs. And a small private terrace at the kitchen level of the apartment. It is very well equipped: ideal for cooking, you don't miss anything at all, it is possible to wash your laundry if necessary. The location is ideal, 10-15 mins drive from Funchal, the environment is very quiet. You can park on the street without any problem. Only small downside, the apartment had plumbing odour problems during our stay. Julie was very responsive and gave us something to wait for the plumber. We hope the issue will be resolved so that future tenants can fully enjoy the apartment.

The village is perfectly located for an extended holiday. Anastasia assisted us in planning starting with providing assistance with parking pass, hiking maps all around the island, any silly requests we had at our stay. And her replies where prompt and professional, providing 2 and 3 options for every inquiry we had. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay with dog ★★★★★ Eugénia and Duarte are very warm hosts! The accommodation was perfect for me and my adult daughter – cozy, clean and in a good location. Our dog Akiko was not a special "guest", but expressly welcome, which was very important to us. Everything was straightforward, and the communication was super friendly. Glad to come back!

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

Our holidays would not have been the same without Igor's accommodation, which is nice, clean, functional and well located. Indeed, the city centre is a stone's throw away, the expressway 2 or 3 km, Funchal and the airport less than 1/2 hour's drive and the view from the balcony is very pleasant. We chose this accommodation by chance and we were delighted to find ourselves in this small town that won us over. Thanks for everything, Igor, and all the best.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

We stayed for one night during our round trip on Madeira, but we would have wanted to stay longer. The place is really spacious, laundry machine and a great terrace with sea view. Madalena do Mar with its banana fields and colorful houses is a charming beach town. Don’t expect sand here, but definitely worth a stop!

We spent a week in this apartment, everything from location to amenities like washer,dryer, beach towels, oven. Great contact with the owner , he quickly answered our questions. Thank you for your kind welcome gift. If we return to Madeira, we will definitely choose Machico and this apartment.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Iri’s place was absolutely breathtaking taking!! The view from the balcony was outstanding! You can see the beach. Her place has a washer drier which was super convenient. iri was super friendly and helpful! She is great !!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

The area is very good and the apartment is also very modern and well equipped.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect home base. The host checked us in and walked us through the apartment to show us how things worked which was great. The location was not super walkable to restaurants and such for my parents due to the steep hills, but it wasn't an issue for us and the beach path was great to walk in the evenings. Definitely recommend.

Daniel is a very friendly and attentive host. She followed us from the first to the last minute, giving tips about the area. The apartment is really space and spacious, with two nice balconies perfect for an outdoor breakfast!

We had a really nice stay in this appartement and Evgenii was friendly. We loved being able to walk to the city centre en we enjoyed the pool on a warm day. Also nice to have a parking spot.
