House holiday rentals in Front Royal

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

This was such a wonderful home! As other reviewers said, lots of room for a big group to spread out. We had 8 guests. (6 adults and two kids) We explored Harpers Ferry and enjoyed hiking the Maryland Heights Trail. We felt absolutely comfortable hanging at this serene house for our mornings and evenings. Cooked most of our meals, played billiards, sang karaoke, and enjoyed the plunge pool. We had an epic round of hide and go seek. Great interior design and lots of space to spread out for quiet time, and many perfect reading nooks. Thanks Leigh, for being so responsive and friendly!

Our experience at the Wizards Escape was amazing! Nate, our host, was the best. He checked in to make sure that we were getting the best experience out of the house. The atmosphere is unreal! We really felt we were at Hogwarts Castle. The bedrooms are so full of detail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine. The Great Hall is magical! The escape rooms.. fantastic. We only stayed 2 days but tried to get in all the activities that were available. We played quidditch golf, did escape rooms, had a scavenger hunt, made great meals in the Weasley's kitchen. We had dinner in the Great Hall under the levitating candles while listening to the Harry Potter music in the background. This house is a home to be experienced. We are definitely coming back!

I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

My husband, brother, and two of our friends spent the weekend at Brad’s house and we had a lovely time. It was extremely conducive to relaxing. We cooked our meals there. The kitchen was very clean and we had found everything we needed for our meals. We were able to use lies the front porch. The pool was closed, but it looked very nice. Brad is an amazing host. He will answer your questions quickly. I would highly recommend staying at Brad’s place to anyone.

Our stay was everything we could have wanted for a weekend with friends. James was extremely helpful, flexible, and communicative, and the house is clean, well stocked, and packs a lot of space & fun into a small footprint.

The house was impressively clean. It was very private, and had a good amount of space for our family. We found our stay to be very comfortable. The space was well supplied. Nicole‘s communication was excellent, and we had an easy time getting in and checking out. It was in close driving proximity to Shenandoah national Park and downtown Luray which we enjoyed.

Had a wonderful time staying here! Bridget gave great advice about the area, especially with visiting Shenandoah National Park on a weekend and being mindful of extra traffic on weekends. The home was very comfortable and gave an elevated experience to the trip. Will definitely stay again when in the area and recommending to friends and family when visiting this area of Virginia!

Athena was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The house was just as described—clean, comfortable, and fairly priced. What you see is what you get, and it met my expectations perfectly. She was also very accommodating of my 85-pound fur baby which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

Our second visit to this wonderful place. Very open and spacious house in the city. We love the 2 master suites with full bath and the half bath downstairs. Plenty of room with multiple sitting areas. The kitchen was loaded with lots of pots and pans for any gourmet chef. We look forward to our nest visit to Winchester.

We were so very pleased with this home. A five star is hard to hand out but this home got it! This is a pet friendly home which you would not even know the house was so clean had no smells of pets. The pictures were accurate the views were amazing. We loved the area the town was quaint the local restaurant were very good. The hot tub was crystal clean. Rules were clearly and cutely posted made our stay very simple. 5stars for sure

Very peaceful, a place to get away and relax. Restful. Grounds are well cared for.

Our stay at the treehouse was wonderful. We loved the rouring river, sitting on the deck absorbing the sun and watching the wildlife. The cabin was unique and comfy. It was a great place to reconnect with my sisters and we plan on staying again when we can.

This was a beautiful charming house with all the amenities that a family could ask for. I loved all the little “extras” provided such as the multiple board games, the basket for s’mores, blankets, beach towels for the tub. The house was fully equipped and absolutely gorgeous. The backyard is beautiful with a fire pit that we enjoyed. Adam was very responsive to our messages. And the check-out was very manageable. I highly recommend this place!!

Stunning location with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy the scenery. Has all the amenities; we particularly enjoyed the pizza oven! Place was clean, well-organized, and spacious. Jennifer was extremely helpful in accommodating our needs and communicated well throughout. Location alongside the Shenandoah River was peaceful, adding to the wonderful environment, and it was an easy drive to the nearby wineries. One note - the last half mile approach is a gravel road with two short, steep climbs; it is well-maintained but worth being aware of. Thanks for a great stay! We would definitely recommend this place to friends!

Great riverfront cabin! Waterfront was absolutely what I was looking for, with a good hot tub view. Great host and the house has all the amenities you need. Close to town and easy road access. Only down side was not having full privacy due to the house next door being occupied. Other than that it was amazing! 10/10 spot!

Fantastic stay. Unbelievable views, very comfortable interior with everything you could ever need for a stay. There’s some added treats too (biggest bath ever, special things for kids etc) that just show you how much love goes into this rental.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. When I suggested it my wife looked at me unsure of what I was suggesting. The state of WV is one of magic you have to see to enjoy. The house is gorgeous and the view is beyond breathtaking. We found peace and solace just sitting with each other. We heard and saw such an abundance of animals from frogs to cows to humming birds and hawks. The only things that could just be because of where the house is, is the water will shut off after limited use. The fire pits location makes using it and enjoying the view difficult. However that aside it was a magical experience and you will truly understand why WV is almost heaven.

Another wonderful stay . Beautiful, peaceful, well curated with everything we would need. We will definitely stay there again.

If you were to like quietness and stay away from the city noises This place is very quiet. All the housewares were great.

The place was beautiful and super clean. There were pamphlets on local areas of interest which helped me decide where to visit. The deck on the river was what sold me to begin with and did not disappoint. Perfect for relaxing and letting the world recede. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

One of our favorite Airbnb stays out of well over 100. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The house is cozy and comfortable. Everything you need is in Marshall or Strasburg. Will look to stay here every time we visit the area. Outstanding value and extremely private location. Great host that makes everything easy.
