This 2 bedroomed cottage has a stylish home from home feel with lots of little touches, free Wifi, free parking & a cottage garden to enjoy. Spacious cottage for 4, but can sleep 6. A great base to visit Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton, Hathersage and the Hope Valley. Dog friendly, we charge an additional £30 per dog for the duration of your stay. We can accept up to 1 dog.

Located next to the historic well in the centre of the village with a fully fenced private garden, bring your dog along to explore amazing walking and cycling from the doorstep. Bridgefoot is a beautiful 17th century cottage situated in the Peak District. Guests have full use of the property including a modern, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for entertaining. There is also an exceptionally comfy and cosy sitting room, equipped with 2 sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed) a log burner and a Smart TV. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. Next door is a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.

Situated in a delightful, quiet hillside village, the cottage is within walking distance to pubs, shops and beautiful hiking and cycling routes. Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and the Monsal Trail are just some of the attractions in the area. Sleeps 2+2.

This isn’t a place for late nights or busy schedules. It suits couples (we are for grownups only)) who enjoy simple days, a good walk, somewhere interesting to visit, and time to properly switch off. The Barn sits slightly apart, reached by a short 5 minute walk from your car, that leaves the everyday behind. It feels more tucked away, more removed. You arrive, settle in, and the pace shifts almost immediately. From there, the days unfold simply, out, back, rest, repeat.
