Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Friedrichroda

We were two with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats would not be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The holiday home is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball court and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

The five of the girls felt very comfortable in the place. We had everything we needed. Even for cooking elaborate meals. The house is totally beautifully located at the end of the village and from there you can walk directly behind the house to the first "local mountain". It is also only a few minutes to the marketplace with restaurant and ice cafe. We had it fantastically quiet here, although there is even being built across the street, or an old half-timbered house is restored. The corner has something very picturesque. The beds were comfortable and two bathrooms with two showers and toilets perfect for us. We were even able to enjoy the sun on the terrace and in front of the house in early April. Thanks again to Manja !!! And also for the great tip with the harbor restaurant, which is only a few minutes away in Wanfried. Also highly recommended!

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

Dagmar's beautiful house with wonderful views leaves nothing to be desired. The reception is tremendously warm and everything is thought of in advance. Thank you! We would love to come back and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Rhön with its exceptionally beautiful flower meadows.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. In the description, it was only missing that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

We stayed with four friends for a long weekend with Franziska and Markus and had a great weekend all around. For those who like hiking, it is a great starting point. You can hike directly from the property and discover the area's attractions. Also the village where the house is located is really beautiful and idyllic. Franziska and Markus are very helpful and totally nice. The pool is great and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The house is equipped with really everything you could ever need, even with a large smart TV for cozy evenings in bad weather. We had a great weekend and would be happy to come back. One thing to know: it's a small (but still very spacious) wooden house and therefore clairaudient. However, that didn't bother us ☺️

The accommodation was furnished with a lot of love. Anke was always available. She was very keen to meet our expectations. She did it. The accommodation is very quiet but still central. We had a very relaxing short break. The pub, which is within walking distance, was able to convince with home-style cuisine and great service. Overall, I would gladly come back.

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We spent very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small village invites you to take small and large hikes. If you get in the car, you can reach the well-known sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the black moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. We were guests at Thorben and Christina's time as guests of Thorben and Christina and it was once again very relaxed and beautiful in Machtlos. The place is cozy and nothing is missing. Our dogs also arrived quickly and we were able to enjoy the vacation very much. We'd love to come back! :-)

The apartment in this beautiful area of Thuringia is very quiet, spacious and lovingly furnished, plus perfectly equipped with everything you need. The landlord is very friendly and always quick to reach. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

The location and apartment were great. For two people and a dog really pleasant and everything fit and looked like in the photos. The kitchen is very well furnished and the view from the terrace is beautiful.

The place was very clean and nothing was broken for the first time, everything worked ,Wi-Fi,TV,toaster, Coffee maker,vacuum cleaner,hair dryer, hot water etc.... Cleaning products ,toilet paper ,Zewa were provided. Tea ,coffee pods, oil,vinegar ,sugar,salt all there . Furnishings also very good everything you need simply bed is super comfortable everything together top with star* you can also say exemplary run apartment. We spent an extended weekend with our dog at Wilma's and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Wilma described everything very accurately and made sure that we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back, thanks!

The weekend at Michael's was absolutely wonderful! A truly charming accommodation and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace! We really enjoyed the days. We had a wonderful holiday with Dirk and Silke. The apartment was big, the beds comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Dirk and Silke responded very quickly and were very accommodating. Check-in using the key box was very easy and uncomplicated. Also the check out was no problem. The area is great for hiking, but there is also a lot to experience in Georgenthal and the Thuringian Forest. The apartment is great for excursions. We will definitely come back!

Very nice hosts and wonderful house. Very nice place to unwind and take excursions to the surrounding area. Nothing was missing and everything was very well maintained and functionally furnished.
