Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of the Bamberg Town Hall, stylishly decorated with antiques. The front building was built in 1530, and the water-side building followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house that was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The façade was restored in May 2026 with great attention to detail and now shines again in all its glory next to the town hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968; before that, it was a pharmacy for 200 years.

In the historically forest house the vacation flat is on the ground floor with three large and bright rooms, a kitchen and as a special thing a wooden bathroom with a teak shower. You can expect an upscale equipment. The holiday flat has a garden with seating solutions, a barbecue and if you want a fireplace. We also provides bicycles for adults and kids.

Obergreuth offers a good starting point for exploring around Bamberg, Franconian Switzerland and various beer gardens.

Our second floor flat is perfectly located in the quiet 'Wunderburg' district of Bamberg which is about 10-15 mins walk to the old town. 5 mins away are two of Bamberg's best known breweries, Keesmann and Mähr. Both offer a wonderful collection of beers and local food . Booking is highly recommended. Here you will also find a Rewe supermarket with a baker. The main train station is approx. 15 mins walk.

Our lovingly furnished, 90 m² apartment is located on the second floor of our residential building in a quiet location on the outskirts with a large garden. Wingersdorf is 12 km southwest of Bamberg. The apartment is located in the historic Bamberg garden district. There are two bedrooms for max. 4 people. Bamberg city center is about 10 minutes' walk away, while Bamberg main train station is about 5 minutes away. Children are welcome but unfortunately the apartment does not have a changing table, etc. Smoking is not allowed in the whole house, but is allowed on the balcony.
