Holiday rentals with lake access in Freienbach

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located directly on the lake shore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

Even though we arrived later than the originally scheduled check-in time, the host was very worried that we wouldn't be able to find the house and waited for us to check in. The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more amazing.. (Actually, I talked about the scenery alone. I'm looking at it, but it still seems like a composite.) I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. If the surroundings are too dark, it may be difficult to find, so please pay attention to the check-in time! If you are late like us, you will suffer a lot. We stayed here with a family of 6 and had a great time! We actually are booking it again to return to Germany from Italy. So, would definitely stay again!😊

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lakes, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

What can one say about staying in a greenhouse?! Lots, I suppose, but I'd say that we had a lovely evening and morning here. The beds were super comfy and the enclosed part of the "apartment" was climate controlled, airy, open, and spacious. The kitchen is out in the greenhouse and though we did only limited cooking, found that a blast! A brief rain made for a delightful sound from the greenhouse roof. The kids adored having horses (regular size and mini) right outside and the faint tinkling of the nearby cow's bells was charming. Also, nice views! I just want to come back in winter to enjoy the "hotpot" and fire burning stove!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

It was lovely place, pretty close to the town area with COOP departmental store next door. Very elegant designed rooms and nice balcony. Highly recommended for someone wanting to live in peace and witness swiss style of living.

We felt very comfortable in this bright studio. Very clean, tasteful and practical (kitchen) furnishings. Communication with the hosts was also uncomplicated and pleasant. Very happy to come back.

Christoph’s place in Ermatingen is a beautiful place , close to a lake, fantastic views and picture perfect. Had a lovely stay and felt it was very short, will go back there anytime , will strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the city and have a quiet time close to beautiful views and a lake. Christoph and Marianne were very helpful and extremely nice. Highly appreciate their hospitality.

The location of the accommodation is in a place that fits the look of the accommodation expected in Switzerland, with a view of the lake. The milk, juice, and bread prepared by the host were excellent. It's a place I want to come back to again.

Fantastic location that boasts great views. Reto and Michaela were exceptional at communication. Michaela gave us a warm welcome and a tour of the house while mentioning to us some of its features like how to operate the washing machine. The kayak experience (which was complimentary from our stay) guided by Reto was lovely and we enjoyed it very much. Home was lovely and clean and contained all the amenities required. Highly recommend 😀

I highly recommend everyone to stay in this house. It has the most beautiful little garden in Brientz. It is a happy thing to lie here for an afternoon, and it is very quiet and convenient for transportation. Although it is next to the train station, it will not disturb your rest at all!!It's💯 a 100% residence!

Highly recommended. Beautiful view of the lake and mountain panorama. Great central starting point for all kinds of activities in Switzerland. Very friendly and easily accessible host who responded quickly with solutions. Very nice and clean place to stay. We will be happy to come back.

Thomas was a very engaging, helpful and polite host. The apartment was in a beautiful location and it was thoughtfully equipped and very clean and comfortable. The bed and settee were very very comfortable. Despite there being a clock tower close by with loud chimes, the property (particularly the bedroom) was well soundproofed. There was a very pleasant outdoor sitting space, and the views are stunning. We walked to the lake and enjoyed a swim. I would nit hesitate in recommending this apartment.
