FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Beautiful house located in the forest by the lake. Nothing is missing, Josefina was helpful and quickly responded to our doubts. She also gave us special tips on fishing, which were very useful. I can definitely recommend this house.

A nice and cozy cottage on the river with a wooden terrace three-quarters around and a spacious garden so you can enjoy the sun all day. A cozy kitchen, but equipped with everything you need. We had super sunny days and could therefore use the outdoor kitchen for breakfast/lunch/evening - ideal! The water took some getting used to, but it's no problem for washing dishes/showering. For sleeping we used the sofa bed in the living room and slept well on it. The conservatory is a beautiful addition to the cottage: from here you can also see the river. Furthermore, there is plenty to do and experience with all the amenities at the cottage: we mainly used the canoe - recommended👍. In addition, there are plenty of hiking areas in the area to take both short and long walks. We had a great time here for a few days!

Karin and Kristin have been very good hosts who have given clear instructions and been quick to respond. The accommodation is very nice by the water with its own beach and sauna with nice views. In addition, a boat with good fishing waters for pike, zander and perch. Recommended!

We stayed two families (9 people) and could fit without any problems. Large apartment, nicely decorated, modern and clean. Nothing to complain about. Perfect for us after a day on the ski slope.
