The place was fabulous and perfect. Super clean and Connie was amazing. She even texted us on Saturday morning after our Friday evening arrival to make sure we were alright and didn’t need anything. Was super close to Main Street but in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and peaceful escape but still close to the downtown bustle!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Hill Country getaway! The rental was spotless, quiet, and perfectly secluded—exactly what we were looking for. It included everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful place! Just wow! We even want to copy paste the color scheme for the house my husband and I are building. The host is very hospitable has an amazing Nespresso machine and a full kitchen. Rooms are welcoming, the beds Is very comfortable and great smelling moisturizer in the bathroom. Also, since it’s located in the country side one can have a wonderful sunrise and sunset ! And even the neighbor cows can be seen from far. Very lovely experience! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed The Shack very much!! We take a yearly trip to the Whimberly areas and this year everything meet our expectations! Joshua was very attentive and we enjoyed his home.

Great stay. Would recommend the host, the location, and the space. Private, serene, classy. Not quite walkable to downtown for most people but was a 3 minute drive (uber home Friday night was $6). 20 minute drive to Enchanted Rock. Easy choice for our next stay in Fredericksburg.

Beautiful setting and close to wineries/breweries/distilleries. The rooftop patio and hammock area were a big plus! I would recommend bringing water as the well water the house runs on has a strong earthy/mineral taste.

Our stay was wonderful! Our favorite part was that the house was within 10-15 min drive to downtown Boerne. It was VERY quiet too! Which was a plus for our 8 month old. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed too. The bed was super comfy too with extra pillows, so we got great sleep. 10/10 recommend!

This is the perfect getaway! It's close to the attractions in the area, but we loved how private it is out in the country. Such a beautiful cabin, and incredible hosts! We will be coming back, highly recommend.

Our stay at the BNB was wonderful. Check-in was easy. The cabin was very clean and the environment was breathtakingly, beautiful with deer and a cute orange cat that greeted you! Catherine was a great host and was very understanding when I needed her for anything I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Such a cozy and peaceful stay, perfect for us and our pups. Excellent location close to the Dominion/The Rim area. We had absolutely everything we needed, hosts were so kind and responsive. I will stay here again, no doubt.

This place is beautiful. I walked the trail around the property several times. We enjoyed the fire pit with family, roasting marshmallows, telling stories and laughed a lot. We sat in the front porch in awe of the beautiful views. We enjoyed the chickens and goats while sitting on an adult swing. Meanwhile the kids made full use of the play ground. Our dogs got plenty of exercise and we're relaxed and comfortable the whole time. The only thing I would have changed are the mattresses, they were too hard for our liking. Thank you to our gracious hosts. We love your place.

We had a very nice stay, everything was exactly as the pictures showed. The ranch was a good repestation of Texan countryside and a nice reprieve from the big city. Very quiet and peaceful. Sam was great, he happened to be out working on the property during our check out and helped us with our bags which we had a lot due to our cross country road trip. Also his recommendation of Mary's Taco's was much appreciated.

This place was such a breath of fresh air — literally. Highly recommend for anyone who values cleanliness, comfort, and true relaxation. So inviting. I really appreciated how the space smelled fresh without any heavy or fake fragrances. Just pure, natural comfort. The energy of the home felt so grounding and relaxing — like a little sanctuary. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully maintained, and incredibly cozy. I slept so well and felt completely at ease the entire time.

Highly recommend this place! I stayed for the weekend and had the best time. The home was clean, modern, and I had a seamless check in/out process. The house is exactly as described and has everything you need to be comfortable on your vacation. It’s about ten minutes from town so far enough to give that county-living feel but still close enough that driving into town for activities is super easy. I couldn’t have asked for anything better this was the cherry on top of my vacation and all that Wimberley has to offer.
