Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Franklin County

We came from California for my dad’s funeral in Preston and booked the house for 3 nights. The communication was great from the start, the house was as described and it was clean and cozy with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The location was perfect for us. Thank you again!

A stunningly beautiful, spacious home, endless vistas, and a private, rustic setting combined to make our family gathering perfect. Our families enjoyed the duo treat of their private quarters coupled with perfect gathering places in the gorgeous living areas, well-appointed kitchen, and peaceful outdoors. This was the perfect gathering place for us. We found ourselves lingering after meals, assembling together in the living areas to just relax and chat, and winding down our days in peaceful ways. We reconnected, celebrated each other, and took delight in watching our children/grandchildren rumble about as a content cousin group.

We loved our stay, the scenery around is absolutely stunning. Conveniently located to town, but felt very private. This is a perfect space for a family, or group looking for quality time together.

Perfect stay! This property is perfect for families! The home has a lot of character and so many private places for big families to spread out. Bathrooms were large. We were visiting Preston for a wedding and the location was right in the middle of Preston, yet the large property allowed for privacy as well as beautiful views from the balcony. The small gym, toy room, and pickleball court were perfect places for us to enjoy between wedding events. The hosts provided all the information we needed from check in to checkout that there was no need to contact them throughout our time, but we felt confident they would be very responsive if we needed help. The master bed was delightful and allowed for a great night sleep! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! This place was absolutely beautiful and the views on their farm are breathtaking! Not to mention the horses they have are so friendly and love to get pet! Highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to come back!

Millie was a thoughtful host! She kindly invited us to participate in a bonfire with friends and was very welcoming. Her space was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying at Sugar Creek Lodge! Very friendly owners and the place was new, comfortable, and clean. Only 5 minutes off the highway going to Preston or to Logan. The freshly baked cookies and cinnamon rolls were amazing! And the pebble ice machine in their commercial kitchen was very much appreciated!

This is a very nice, new and quiet place. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations and how clean everything was inside and out. Everything that I needed was provided throughout the unit. The owners went above and beyond and left me a welcome note, some fresh baked rolls and a refrigerator with juice, bottles of water and some other things. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were soft and spotless. Extra blankets and pillows were available in both rooms. The area was very peaceful and quiet. One recommendation I would make, while not super important to most vacationers/travelers would be to add a small TV in each room with the ability to stream online services. I loved my stay and if available I would definitely book again!
