Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Franconia

Comfortable and convenient. We were minutes from restaurants and skiing which was perfect. The rental really felt like a hime. Check in was easy and Julia and Peter were proactive with messages about check in and trash. Rooms and beds were comfortable and clean.

We stayed here with our family for our wedding at castle in the clouds and this was the PERFECT location to get ready and relax before and after the wedding. It’s gorgeous, spacious, and Tamara is an absolutely lovely host and helpful when we had any questions. We booked the house across the street from her too for the wedding party and it was so nice to have a quiet family complex!

A great stay for my family of six. 20 min access to ski at Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain. House was clean, warm, and easy to access. Quiet and remote, but a handful of restaurants are reachable within a 10-15 min drive.

We rented this place for a girls weekend getaway. It was what we expected from the description and exactly what we needed. We stayed in and cooked, enjoyed the firepit and nestled in to the cozy beds. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was so close to shopping, food and the beach…although it snowed and rained the weekend we stayed so we didn’t explore much. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

Our stay was timed perfectly for a quick overnight for spring skiing at Cannon the next day. Being ~15 min away is so much better than driving over 4hrs total in 1 day for skiing! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 (3 for this trip) and our stuff, place was easy to find, well-lit and almost too warm with the heaters doing a good job. Instructions and communications were super clear, with Henry being proactive and checking in. Definitely recommend for a weekend in the mountains - we will be back once the snow allows!

I went with my friends and it was fantastic! The surrounding area as beautiful and the added amenities really made the stay special for us.

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

Chad was an incredible host! He was extremely accommodating with any requests we had. The views from his place are breath-taking! We enjoyed snowshoeing from the backyard onto trails in the woods. I fell in love with his cat who visited daily! He kept the driveway plowed and salted in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend his place!

Loved staying in Korene’s place. It was very comfortable, bright, and clean. Korene was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home. I highly recommend the space and the host!!!

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

Amazing experience in a quiet environment. So resourceful and peaceful atmosphere. Bryan was ultra reactive and available. Attentive to make our stay a preferred place where I feel like at home Thank you again Bryan!

Sam is a friendly, generous, helpful host! He and his family live upstairs in this fun, modern building; the apartment is on the ground floor/daylight basement, but the house sits on a steep hill so the unit has plenty of natural light and does not feel like a basement. The separate entrance is located at the far end of the structure so it feels like a standalone unit with plenty of privacy. The neighborhood rises steeply from downtown Woodstock, up narrow, steep, windy roads. The streets were pretty consistently plowed, but drive slowly and cautiously, especially with snow. Also, like Sam says, don't just enter the address into Google Maps; it will try to take you elsewhere through someone's house and yard (haha!) Instead, follow Sam's directions. We loved the casual, yet carefully curated decor and found the bedroom super cozy with the most comfortable bed and linens. Our favorite was going on a cross-country ski adventure right out the back! Thank you, Sam, for a great stay!

This apartment is simply perfect! I felt comfortable and safe and loved waking up to the beauty of the space, the kitchen has all new appliances and the colors and craftsmanship are impressive. There was plenty of room throughout and the bed is very comfortable. Thank you Rick! I would definitely stay at your apartment again. I also highly recommend this place because of the great, central location.

Our trip up from Rochester NH to enjoy the tribute band for Neil Diamond at Colonial Theatre was a better experience because we stayed at Christine’s! We had made this reservation months in advance so as to not have to drive home late. Walking distance to theatre and restaurants! There was early check-in (much different than other’s, here was 1:00), a beautiful screened in porch (too cold to use it, which was fine because the room that the porch is off of is the cozy TV room. There is an easy to navigate remote (increasingly rare to have a TV in Airbnb’s never mind one that is easily operated!)) Bedroom with plush wall to wall carpeting and thick curtains for darkness Bed was very comfortable; super soft linens, lots of extra blankets and anything else needed! We slept really well. Breakfast as DejaVu was exceptional. We would not want to stay elsewhere when visiting Laconia! Christina is a rock star

Wife and I had a great time at Fairley’s place. Condo was as advertised, clean with all the utensils you need. The resort has a clubhouse with all great amenities. Location is great! We would definitely like to rent again.

Highly recommend a stay at Michelle and Jason’s place! It’s a great “home base” for whatever you’re looking to do, whether that be hiking, climbing, skiing, shopping, or exploring any of the charming towns nearby! Michelle and Jason were kind and communicative and their place is so adorable and comfortable! Great stay!

Beautiful location, wonderful bathroom, very comfortable bed. loved the extra amenities available like pool and rec room. Looking forward to returning in the future!

The condo was very clean, tasteful decorated. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big table to play games and the living room was cozy for the evening and morning chats. Pretty views.

We loved our stay and couldn't have felt more at home. Condo has everything you need and the hosts were so kind. Plenty of space for our family of 4 but could easily fit 6. Location is ideal for families to explore all Bartlett has to offer. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

We had a fabulous time at Meg’s Condo. The location was perfect and the unit was spotless! Also the beds were very very comfortable!! Highly recommend this to anyone!!
