Holiday rentals with a kayak in Forsyth County

Lanier Islands Point was a fabulous stay! Scott was a great host who checked in with us before, during and after our stay. The place was beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for 8 adults to hang out. The lake access, beautiful view and sundeck were an added bonus. It was quiet and relaxing. We would highly recommend this Airbnb!

This house was the perfect getaway for our family! It was spacious, clean and easily accessible for a member of the family on crutches - the elevator and golf cart were lifesavers! The kids LOVED the bunk room and the little ones thought the playroom was “amazing!” Lake Lanier is gorgeous and the little cove was perfect for swimming and playing in the water! We couldn’t have asked for more!

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by calm and beauty. The private dock quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffee, peaceful reflection, and sunset watching. The kids loved swimming right off the dock — the water was clean, refreshing, and safe for endless fun. Afternoons were filled with laughter and adventure — swimming, fishing, exploring, and simply enjoying the outdoors together. Evenings were just as magical. We fired up the grill for delicious BBQ dinners and gathered around the fire pit, to share stories, and stargaze. We had a wonderful stay. The house was very welcoming, clean, fully stocked with all necessities, and in a great location. The house is just as described with plenty of space and amenities, however, there is no washer and dryer. It is noted that they are not available, but that was difficult with rain and a lot of wet items so just be aware. The walk down to the dock is on a steep slope, but worth it. The dock was very nice to have both shelter underneath from rain and a top deck for sunning. Overall, this is a great location on the lake and convenient to stores, ect.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is tucked into its wooded lot and feels like a private retreat. Between relaxing on the dock, or napping in the screened pavilion, or exploring on kayaks there was something for our entire family to enjoy across the three generations on our trip.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Zoe's house. The house was close to Lake Lanier Olympic Park and Laurel Park, and not far from the downtown. Zoe's artwork, furnishings, sheets, towels and candles really set the home apart from other places at which I have stayed. We look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

This was our second stay at the Architect’s Cottage. It was as peaceful and calm this time as before. The deck and lake are our favorite things but inside the house is great too: clean and cozy and beautifully appointed with unique furnishings, art and lighting. Thank you, Jennifer for making this available again for us.

Great get-away for a family! Lots to do on the property, you can fish, swing, look for salamanders in the creek and look at the waterfall. Sitting by the firepit watching the river go by was relaxing.

Anya was an excellent host. We stayed at this listing for a wedding weekend. We had some tuxes mailed to the house and Anya and her husband ensured the packages were safe and delivered to us, her communication was always great. The listing itself was incredible. Definitely a place to stay for a big group. 10/10 recommend!

My family really enjoyed our stay at Lake House. The house is adorable, kitchen is so nice, love the counter tops, love the names for each room, love the playroom upstairs. It was too cold for the outside patio, but it was so pretty on the sunny days. Everyone loved the game room. We loved the short walk to the dock and enjoyed kayaking every day. Little islands are 15 min away kayaking, park is 10 min kayaking, beautiful outdoors experience. My family really enjoyed firepit outside under the stars/ or decorative lights. Master bedroom was very spacious, bed was very comfortable. House had everything we needed. We hope to come back soon. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay and Chris was very helpful and accommodating. He worked to make our stay perfect for our family. The view from the deck was stunning and we even saw a mama bear with 2 cubs. The house and community offered a wide variety of activities and experiences and my adult children said they would be happy to come back sometime. It was just what our family needed.

The cabin was even better in person, Donna went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed. The walk around the neighborhood was beautiful and the neighbors were all very friendly. There is a nice view of the river and the atmosphere was so cozy and peaceful. We will be bookmarking for future visits for sure!

My family and I had a most relaxing, peaceful long weekend in Marty and Mike’s home in Lake Canoe. Everything was as described when we placed our reservation. We loved the house and will certainly rent again at some point in the future if the occasion arises.

This house was amazing! Beyond our expectations. Every detail had been thought of. The family loved the billiard table and there was so much room everyone was able to have their own private space. The sheets and towels were top of the line and matched everything else in the house. The kitchen had every appliance you could think of. We will definitely come back and refer our friends.

Susan’s place is a cozy getaway surrounded by nature. This snazzy A-frame home felt warm and comforting as soon as we got in. The hot tub and doggy-friendliness were huge parts of our selection. Key aspects of the home were drinking coffee on both upper and lower deck porches, overlooking the woods, the hot tub of course, and snuggling up on the couch, watching tv at night with a bottle of wine, purchased from the nearby vineyards. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this lovely and wonderfully secluded home on Lake Lanier. There is so much to do and would be a great place to bring kids, I'm already planning another trip with my niece and nephew. There's a mini putt putt course, arcade games, ping pong, board games, SUPs and kayaks! My favorite part was how quiet and private it is - the perfect spot for a little getaway. It's about a minute walk downhill from the house to the lake (might take a little longer for much older family members but I think still doable). There's obviously a little more noise and activity on the lake where you can actually see some neighbors but it was still mostly very peaceful and relaxing. The place itself was very clean and Amy was super helpful/responsive. My husband loved all the coffee options. Looking forward to another visit sometime!

We had an amazing family trip!! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and so cozy!! The views were stunning!! What a beautiful and relaxing place! They thought of every detail to make our stay absolutely perfect!! We definitely plan to go back!!
