Monthly Rentals in Forest-in-Teesdale

We absolutely loved our stay here this weekend. I have a nervous dog and privacy and space is an absolute necessity for me and Ruth’s place was just perfect. There’s so many animals around which is amazing and they are all fenced away securely too, although my dog is great with animals I can see how this would be ideal for those that might be a bit more nervous than her. Inside the house itself was absolutely beautiful, clean and cozy. There was milk in the fridge and snacks too, which we found so accommodating. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you Ruth! X

What a lovely, cosy little place. It had everything we could have possibly needed; somewhere to store the bikes, a kitchen, 2 showers, a living area and comfy beds. Sarah was very friendly too and offered a lift into Alston should we need it. There were lovely little extra touches too, like board games, wi-fi, chocolate and fresh eggs from the chickens next door. Price was fantastic too! Will definitely be coming back to stay.

A great 3 night stay whilst visiting family in the local area. Room was clean and spacious bed was comfy and the room had all amenities we needed for a few days. En-suite clean with a nice large shower and plenty of hot water, The area was lovely and quiet, easy to get to, instructions were clear and parking easy. We had a wonderful stay at Howee Inn. It’s small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for one night. Pamela was really friendly and provided clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were left bread, milk, eggs and butter which was a lovely touch that we enjoyed for breakfast. The local area is lovely too, and we would recommend the local pub for dinner.
