Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Forest Acres

Lovely place, very helpful/responsive hosts (Chris/Chrisi and Kim)beautiful and serene surroundings with easy 10 minutes access or less to Lexington and all its restaurants/shops. The home is older but key areas have been updated (kitchen and master bathroom). Our kids loved the double full bunk beds downstairs and the fire-pit was great for family time/smores. The dock was perfect for turtle/bird watching. Highly recommend!

What we loved most about Lakisha's was the back yard space! Private with comfortable seating options and surrounded by trees and visited by lots of song birds! We spent lots of time there. The house was very clean. The color scheme throughout was chic and relaxing. She has just about every kitchen gadget (blender etc) you would want! The bedroom had the feel of a spa and the bed was so comfortable with nice linens. It was very helpful to have the large closet with and iron and ironing board1 Both bathrooms were lovely - it is really nice to have that extra half bath! I was working on a photo book project and there was a perfect table downstairs to spread out for that and plenty of other places to set up our computers etc. We loved that Lakisha provided games. There were lots of lights, outlets, ceiling fans and remotes to operate all those things. The Wifi never failed us! Lakisha was very responsive and helpful!

What a wonderful home! Thank you for allowing us to bring our dog Scout. It was great a home for my family and I to stay for an officer graduation! Bryon was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I will come again!

Mark’s home was comfy and cozy. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend if you are liiking for somewhere near SC University or Fort Jackson!

Terrific as expected! Super attractive decor with a great vibe, easy parking spot, quick response to questions, everything you need for your time in Columbia, plenty of room for 6 people. Will book again for sure!!!

We had a lovely stay at Elias’s home while helping out our son & his family’s 4th arrival. Beds were very comfortable. Location can’t be beat! Close to restaurants, retail stores lots of towels and very nice washer & dryer. House is located right next to access to the community trail (although we had no time to walk on it) would definitely rent again when visiting out son)!

This lake house view was an amazing. Loved the upstairs balcony. Gated community. Ty and Dane were extremely nice and helpful. We had an unfortunate situation happen where the water went out due to neighbors doing construction next-door. Ty immediately jumped in and took control. He sent us plenty of water and made sure the problem was resolved as soon as possible. I wish this home was a long term rental. I plan on renting here from Ty and Dane again. Highly recommended.

Best place to stay in the Columbia area. We rented 3 units, with about 7-8 people, and these spaces accommodated us well. The living spaces were phenomenal. The kitchen was pristine! Even the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this location and will be returning anytime we are in the area. Thank you!

I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was quick and easy. It was such a pleasant stay. The place is quiet and peaceful. There’s a little lake around the neighborhood that is nice to walk around and enjoy the nature. The host is super nice and is very responsive on any possible problems. Everything was clean and tidy. All necessary supplies and amenities are provided with extras. Definitely recommend for anyone that want to travel for short term or for long term stay. It is absolutely worth it. Would come again myself if I ever want to enjoy all the awesomeness!

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

Had a great stay. The place was very clean and as described. The owner was very nice and accommodating. No problems at all with our stay. The location was what we needed, but know that grocery stores and other stores are a good 10-minutes away. If you are needing to do work while at this location, the wifi strength was not the best. Also, please read the house rules as this was the only place where it was noted that bed sheets and towels are not provided. Overall, the place and stay was just perfect for us. Thank You!!

Oh I can say You don't judge a book by the outside? Because once you get inside, it's all what in the pictures, very quiet spot and very easy to access alot of restaurants and stores nar by I definitely had a very nice Anniversary and The Host was very easy to reach if I needed anything. So I'll definitely be going back again
