Monthly Rentals in Fondo Morte

The property is beautiful with the many olive trees. We especially enjoyed the terrace very much. Antonia was the perfect hostess and welcomed us with coffee and treats from the region. The location is good for excursions from there.

Nataleo made his way to the house late on a Thursday night (1.5h drive for him!) after us having had booked very short notice the same day to ensure he can welcome us in person. As we arrived so late, he had also stocked up some basic supplies so we didn’t have to go to bed thirsty after our long journey. He also managed to organize a high chair for our toddler. Very warm and efficient welcome and intro to the place followed by great local tips the day after. He was super responsive throughout our stay, always friendly and fast communication. The house itself is fairly new and was very clean, providing all essential amenities. Mosquito protection and a dishwasher would be great additions, but we definitely had a great time also without them and apparently mosquitoes don’t seem to be an issue in the very hot peak season. The beach is a 5 min walk and Marzamemi ca. 15 mins on foot. Car is recommended (grocery shopping, more restaurants, day trips). A stay is recommended!

A lovely clean apartment in a great location. We were 3 adults and there was plenty of room. Easy to walk to a beach and the lovely town marzamemi with lots of restaurants and an easy drive to visit Noto and Syracuse. We really enjoyed the terrace and Elisa was very helpful and flexible.

Agostina was an impeccable host!!! Very kind and super available! Thanks to your tips, we have visited the magnificent Isola delle Correnti! The house's location is perfect, attached to the famous square of Marzamemi but not in the middle of the noise! The view of the house is spectacular. The house is really nice, clean and well furnished! If we come back nearby, we will definitely come back to visit Agostina! Thank you thank you for your hospitality!!!
