Monthly Rentals in Fondo Morte

We had the pleasure of staying with Antonia, a host of a kindness really out of the ordinary, always available, welcoming and caring. Despite our arrival at midnight, he waited for us with great courtesy, making check-in extremely flexible. The house is nestled in a wonderful garden, full of olive trees, with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed the coffee offered by our host, a moment of true relaxation. Parking inside the courtyard was a great added value. The only small aspect to note: the doors tend to squeak, and this could be annoying for those who sleep in the other rooms, especially during the night. A tip for future guests: bring a shower gel, toilet paper, and garbage bags with you, as essential amenities are not included (it's specified, but we noticed too late). Overall, a very pleasant stay, made special by Antonia's kindness and atmosphere!

Nataleo made his way to the house late on a Thursday night (1.5h drive for him!) after us having had booked very short notice the same day to ensure he can welcome us in person. As we arrived so late, he had also stocked up some basic supplies so we didn’t have to go to bed thirsty after our long journey. He also managed to organize a high chair for our toddler. Very warm and efficient welcome and intro to the place followed by great local tips the day after. He was super responsive throughout our stay, always friendly and fast communication. The house itself is fairly new and was very clean, providing all essential amenities. Mosquito protection and a dishwasher would be great additions, but we definitely had a great time also without them and apparently mosquitoes don’t seem to be an issue in the very hot peak season. The beach is a 5 min walk and Marzamemi ca. 15 mins on foot. Car is recommended (grocery shopping, more restaurants, day trips). A stay is recommended!

Perfect location for my wife, 2yo son and I. A short, safe walk from the bustling marina (but far enough to escape any noise), and straight over the road from a lovely, quiet beach. We had a few unfortunate complications during our stay, but these were not Elisa's fault - internet failure, broken toilet flush, power outage. in fact, these only served to demonstrate what an excellent host Elisa is. Even later at night, she was quick to respond and everything was resolved in no time and with the minimum of fuss. The apartment itself was spotless, the shower was powerful and easy to control. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals (although the restaurants were so good and such good value, we very rarely did!). The roof terrace is a wonderful space to relax with a glass of wine, watching the sun set. Maybe better suited to couples or families with older children due to the steps and corners, but we felt comfortable and safe all the time.

Francesco and Salvo have the most beautiful villa that’s very private and perfect for our family. We loved the big shaded terrace for the hot midday moments, and especially loved the pool with its wide shallow steps that were perfect for our children. We also loved the location being less than 2 mins walk from the amazing beaches with very clear Turquoise water and 5 mins walk from the excellent Lido Aqua beach with great food. It’s good to have a car to go to wonderful Noto and Marzamemmi and supermarkets etc. Francesco and Salvo are excellent hosts and helped us in many ways. The house has excellent black out because of the in built shutters! Very useful with our children, everyone slept very well. Thank you Francesco and Salvo
