Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fogo Island

We had a wonderful stay at Shoal Bay. The home was clean and very welcoming. We felt right at home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had anything needed. We also really enjoyed the bean bag toss. The home was such a great central location. We would 100% stay there again.

We locked ourselves out of the house (100% our fault) and Michelle/Jason problem solved extremely quickly. Within minutes, someone arrived to let us in. House is beautiful…surroundings are beautiful…we could not have been happier with our stay.

Janice's Airbnb is terrific. Its location on the water, renovation that respects Fogo traditions, beautiful furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms made for a wonderful stay for us. I highly recommend her home.

Highly recommended for all, especially French, and New York natives! The host was super nice and the place super well situated for sunrise, and sunset. Also the cottage was well equipped. A must for all travelers

We had a lovely stay at Debra’s amazing place! We had a cold and rainy day but enjoyed it playing games (she has a great selection!) in the dining room that has beautiful views on all sides. Starting the day with a short walk up to the Crow’s Nest Cafe for yummy treats and coffees was amazing. The house is a quick drive to amazing restaurants, sites and hikes. Debra’s house was clean and cozy for sleeping and we really enjoyed our stay there - thank you!!

Excellent communication with host, Bill was very proactive and even arranged for us to have an early check-in. His place is spotlesss, quiet and very well equipped with all the amenities. The trails along the beach nearby were awesome.

Cute little place. Easy to find. Only stayed one night. Everything you need is there. Loved playing games and listening to records. What a treat!! Very peaceful.

Fabulous place and Marie was great to communicate with. The house has lots of room for fun in the basement rec room. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of windows for natural light. All 3 bedrooms are a good size and the bathroom is always bright during the day due to the skylight in the ceiling...so cool! The decor is very relaxed and welcoming. There are great views of the cove and the house is a short distance to all that Twillingate has to offer. Please be aware that the the house is up a steep hill. If you have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you. However, if you have a car, the parking is very near to the house and on a level area. We were fortunate to visit in peak iceburg season. There were so many around and sooo amazing to see! They look different from every side. You would think you're looking at different iceburgs. Highly recommend taking the Iceburg Quest boat rour. They get you nice and close with lots of opportunities for pictures.

A very adorable place didn’t mind the 1.10 hrs to our destination as we saw way more than we expected . Very peaceful clean and private . I would go back if they’d have us . Easy communication . Thank you . I loved it❤️

Cheryl was refreshing to deal with…. Very accommodating and professional. Such a cozy, clean old home and we really enjoyed the sunsets out back being on the ocean edge. We were dealing with a loss in our family and Cheryl made our situation much easier on us. Definitely recommend staying to anyone who likes a nice quiet place to get away.

Had a lovely stay at the Pelley House! We loved all the attention detail in terms of the history, but also appreciated having all the modern amenities people have come to rely on. It was very helpful that Gary gave us the heads up that we might not have cell service in the area so we knew to download maps and instructions ahead of time.

Great spot near the water just north of Twillingate. We appreciated the on site laundry facilities. We recommend heading to the Long Point Lighthouse for a beautiful view of the sunset. The Split Rock brewery is a great place to stop as well.

Such a cozy and warm home! We loved falling asleep to the sound of waves during a stormy night — it was incredibly relaxing. Having our morning coffee by the sea was the perfect start to each day. The house had everything we needed, and the kids were thrilled to finally watch Lilo & Stitch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Graham is a great host, friendly and responsive. He was so easy to talk with and made us feel at home from the very start. The cabin is a unique experience, all the amenities you need in a peaceful rustic environment. We will visit again!

Janet cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of effort put in on details. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook a delicious meal on the bbq or stove. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the whole place was extremely clean. There really isn’t any strong cell phone service in the area but that’s exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to unplug for a night with the kids and we done exactly that with the board games and puzzles that were there. Along with a few games of washer, fishing and a fire. It was an absolutely perfect evening in a beautiful peaceful location. We will definitely return!
