Hello, the accommodation is perfect in a farmhouse, a location in front of the accommodation in a courtyard sheltered from view, ideal for leaving your car or motorcycle safely, the bedding is comfortable. I can't find any defects. I would highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful enchanting countryside chateau slightly north of many DDay Utah Beach and Airborne sites. This chateau dates back to the 1200s and has plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful birds/horses, roam the property, and disconnect from a busy city. Two grocery stores are only 2 miles north of the chateau, and there’s an excellent restaurant within walking distance. Mobile service and their wifi worked well. Furnishings and cottages made it feel cozy and relaxing. Last and most importantly, the hosts are incredibly gracious and welcoming, too. I cannot wait to go back.

Cottage 4 stars near the d-day beaches in Normandy

Wonderful location for our base for the Normandy area! Our family of 5 stayed during the 80th anniversary of D-Day celebrations. It was convenient to attend events in Ste Mere Eglise, visit Utah, Omaha and June beaches as well as a day in Bayeaux. Valognes was charming; has its own D-Day history and interesting Roman ruins. The property dates back to the 16th century and feels like a private estate. Grocery story is 3 minutes away, as is highway access (N13). Spectacular garden, enjoyed many hours outside with wine amongst the flowers. Cottage is well suited to a family; two rooms accessible by one staircase and the other room / ensuite accessible by a separate staircase. Cooked in the well appointed kitchen, used the washer and dryer. Easy and plentiful parking on the property. Eric was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. Provided a great dinner recommendation on the coast for oysters, that we would not have found on our own. Highly recommend.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the aesthetic quality and cleanliness of the house, the decoration is done with talent. Our hosts hosted us super well, our dog Loona too, which made us feel right at home and during our stay it was the case. Catherine and her husband are always attentive with a smile. I would add that the directions to the area were very helpful and it helped us a lot. We'll be happy to go back without hesitation. André

Ideally located accommodation for visiting the Cotentin, as well as for visiting the historical sites of the Battle of Normandy. My son and I had a great stay. We'll be happy to go back!
