My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very peaceful and had fantastic views of the mountains. The deck might have been our favorite part of the stay as we just sat in the chairs and enjoyed the peace and solitude. We would definitely recommend this place!

We enjoyed our weekend at the Fossil Lodge! Location is perfect for a mountain getaway, views of the night sky are amazing. The cabin is cozy and clean. Don't forget to use Carla's directions for finding the address. We hope to come back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Marlena’s cabin! The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a cozy and relaxing getaway. The location is absolutely stunning, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, which made it the perfect retreat for our family. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches and how spacious and comfortable the home was. Waking up to those gorgeous mountain views was unforgettable! Crazy horn chalet a scenic mountain escape

The place is really beautiful and the views and fire pit and decks are all great. it is what you dream of when you think of being out in the mountains. It's a great location. We hit Cañon City for ww rafting, Cripple Creek for gambling, hiking in Garden of the Gods, and shopping and dining in Manitou Springs. all of this was just 30 minutes away except for Cañon City which was the most beautiful one hour drive. We wanted to go to 11 Mile Canyon, but we just didn't have enough time in 3 days. Great place. Great location. All the convenencies and amenities we could hope for. the hosts are very quick to respond to any questions. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed how private the property was and loved the scenery and wildlife. We visited Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, and 11 Mile Canyon while there. Each was about a 40 minute drive from the cabin but the drive was scenic and did not feel that long so we did not mind it at all. When not out site seeing we enjoyed relaxing in the cabin reading, watching tv, playing shuffle board, and watching the humming birds on the deck. We made many of our meals at the cabin and the cabin had anything we needed to be able to prepare our meals.
