Such a great location and stay experience. It was so peaceful. Had everything you could possibly want and need, from blankets to horseshoes. The house has a cool story, and a one of a kind location. We brought our dog and we're appreciative of the fully fenced yard and dog amenities, like treats and a leash. We will be back!

What a beautiful place inside and out. The listing was identical to the pictures. Beach access couldn’t be closer and you have an amazing view of the coastline. The place was immaculate and how so many amenities included that made our stay very homie and helpful. Looking forward to staying here again in the future. 5 stars, 10/10 would definitely recommend this place!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our visit. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Perfect spot for my husband and I. Very cute home. Loved that it’s on a private street, so you feel like you’re on a little hidden getaway at the top of the hill but still close to all fun things in Newport! You can walk to coffee and a mini mart right down the road! Hope to book again!

Sharon’s cottage is a true hidden gem. Nestled in a beautifully secluded spot, it’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking to escape the noise and reconnect with nature. The photos simply don’t do it justice; the cottage is more peaceful in person than they can possibly capture. One of the things I appreciated most was the absence of Wi-Fi and limited cell service—it gave me the chance to truly unplug and unwind. There is a TV with a small collection of DVDs, which was a lovely touch for a quiet evening in (I'd recommend bringing your own favorites if you have any). The cabin is also dog-friendly, which made it even more special. If you’re a fan of solitude & quiet mornings this place is a dream. All in all, this cottage is a perfect little sanctuary. Thank you, Sharon, for creating such a special space.

We highly recommend and would stay again. The home is very comfortable and cozy, the finishes throughout add charm. Small detail but I appreciate the natural fiber bedding. The back porch faces lush trees and the Yachats river. The home feels private and there is a path from the backyard that will lead you to the ocean beach if you continue past the Tennis Courts. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, utensils, and dishes needed to prepare food at the home. The gas fireplace and daybed window seat is the icing on the cake. Rent it!

There are 56 stairs from the house to the boathouse and every single one of them is worth it. Lynda’s boat house is amazing, it’s fun for sunny or rainy days, if you’re not sure of the weather while visiting 10 mile then this place is perfect because you can still be in the lake and have that experience from the indoors too. So fun for kids. The water on 10mile is not great from the pipes, not just at Lynda’s, we stay 10 mile a lot and this is just something about it, had a sulfur smell and taste. Lynda had good clean water there for us. Beds are not great, I heard from my friend that the bed in the guest house was good though. The two in the main house were difficult, I’m 36, I can do it but I also feel it. There is not shampoo or any of those types of amenities, there was a big bag of sample condition though, so be prepared to back your own cosmetics. She has a good amount of towels which is a necessity and was appreciated. The view was great,

The cottage is in a great location on a quiet street. The location is nice for exploring Shore Acres Cape Arago and John Topits Park yet it’s only a short drive to downtown Coos Bay. The tasteful yet simple decor made our stay delightful!

LOVED this little cabin. It was such a sweet space, with beautiful landscaping, and a homey feel. the beach access was incredible. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Spectacular view from the picture window overlooking the coast. Cold, windy day, but could view from inside. close to Beverly Beach and Yaquina Lighthouse. We used the furnished BBQ for burgers with salad.

We had a wonderful stay in Newport! The home was full of charm and in a perfect location—just a short walk to the bayfront, where we could hear the sea lions. The large windows facing the bay made the space feel open and peaceful, and we especially loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. We’d definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend (Turned Fiancé on this trip) stayed here for a few nights and could not recommend more! Gina was very kind and her beach bum bungalow was outstanding! We made multiple walks to Nye Beach for coffee and chowder, easy access to the water, and the views were unreal! We had relatively decent weather most of our trip and by the end of it I popped the question asking my partner to marry me! *She said yes!* We plan on making return trips to this very destination, beautiful place and could not recommend more. The beach house was perfectly located on Newport Beach and had everything our travel group could have wished for. Clean, well-equipped with a great little garden where you can light an evening fire! April was easy to reach and communication was quick and easy. We would definitely come back!

Quiet neighborhood with lots of space to spread out but also space to be together and hang out.

The cottage was as described. The beds were comfortable and the instructions were easy to follow for the WiFi and TV. We had a major plumbing issue the second day we were there and Mark had it taken care of the following day. It was a very peaceful area and lots of areas to walk and an easy walk to the Ocean as well as many places nearby to access the beach. We all enjoyed the stay thoroughly especially since the weather was beautiful.

Julie was very helpful and accommodating throughout. This is an easy Yachats village stay with a short walk to the store, restaurants, and beach.

Our family LOVED our stay and will be back again when we come through town! The appliances were modern, everything was clean and welcoming, and we felt safe and comfortable. Close to food, shops, and quick drive to Newport, with a quiet, small town woody vibe. Very cool layout, and plenty of room for a family of 5! We especially loved the themed rooms and decor. Easy check in, and very helpful and kind property manager who happened to be on site checking on things after a big storm. We will be back, thank you!

This is our second stay at Chad’s cottage. It was a stunningly beautiful weekend and the autumn leaves reflected in the river with herons and seals cruising by was incredible. Chad and his wife are always super friendly, the cottage spotless and the beds comfy. My husband would take each of the kids canoeing up and down the river to fish for salmon in a canoe provided. If you don’t have a river house with all the toys, this is the next best thing.
