Fabulous apartment located on the second floor (= seventeen steps and elevator that will take you next to the front door of the house) in a building from the 1600s-1700s. This apartment was completely renovated in 2014, preserving the original frescoes from the 1600s-1700s that are on all the interior walls Its beautiful balcony and windows overlook the Famous Loggia del Porcellino. Carefully furnished with elegant high-end furniture, it is truly a gem. The apartment was completely and finished restoring (excluding the frescoes) in JUNE 2014 with the highest quality materials and with all the comforts you need and tastefully furnished. The building is from 1200 and inside the entire apartment, the interior walls have original and unrestored frescoes, from the year 700. Ideal for those who want to experience the history of Florence. It is in a fantastic location and above all in the middle of the pedestrian area. For those who love to visit the city's most important monuments and museums, they can be reached quickly on foot without any need for any public service as the apartment is in the heart of the historic center. Guests will have the entire apartment and all its amenities at their disposal. The kitchen is set up for all types of breakfast (kettle for tea, toaster, American coffee machine, Moka for Italian coffee, various types of tea, etc.) and cooking is equipped with everything you need (pots, cutlery, glasses, plates, refrigerator, microwave, etc.) At any time of the day, I am at your complete disposal ready to advise, help or reach you, if you need or urgently need or want. The apartment is wonderful and located in the most important neighborhood of the historic center. It has the largest balcony in the entire square. Being in an exclusively pedestrian area, to get around by motorized means, you can call a taxi, or get around by bus. From the apartment, the Garage is 150 meters away. The apartment is located in the heart of Florence’s historic center, a stone's throw from the famous Ponte Vecchio and its famed jewelry shops. Take a stroll to the Santo Spirito district to discover its lively cafes and vibrant Tuscan restaurants. From the train station Santa Maria Novella you can take the taxi (just 5 minutes) or the bus number 6 and get off in Lungarno Guicciardini ( the bus stop is called "Pescaia di santa Rosa") and from there 2 minutes by walk. If you have the car you can park at the Garage Lungarno in Borgo San Iacopo 10 (+39.055.282542 - two minutes by walk from our apartment) If you book it you will avoid the fine as it is in ZTL area. From the Airport of Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" you can take the taxi (around 20 minutes) or take the special bus to reach the central train station; check the website for timetable: www.areoporto.firenze.it on item Transports. The apartment is located in ancient building at the first floor (20 confort steps to make) no elevator. The apartement can accomodate up to 3 adults (King size bed 1,80 m x 2 m, 1 confort sofa bed 1,20 m x 1,90 ) both with lattex hypoallergenic mattresses). It will be possible also to 2 adults with 2 teenagers. Our staff will attend the check-in from 04.00 until 07.00 but if you need a different time please feel to ask and we can find a suitable solution for you . Self check-in will be also available asap.
