The lovingly restored cottage with fireplace, underfloor heating, projector and large panoramic window has been converted into an award-winning studio and offers space for couples, friends and families with children from 6 years of age as well as for yoga groups and workshops. Countless swimming spots, hiking and cycling trails are nearby.

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Our small, lovingly renovated 56sqm apartment is part of our old brick house (former bakery) located in a beautiful and nature rich corner of the Uckermark. It is an ideal starting point for small day trips - in the immediate vicinity there are several swimming lakes, bicycle and hiking trails, old villages and many other tourist offers. In our village of Flieth there is a small regional shop with organic products from local farmers and a nice pub with a beer garden.

“Less is more” – This is one of the golden rules for good design, which guided us in the restoration of our farm in the Uckermark. The Birkenhof includes several acres of land with meadows, fruit and vegetable gardens and our small birch grove, which gave the farm its name. The farmhouse is ideal for families or small groups. The farmhouse can also be rented together with the stable building and laundry.

The apartment is located in a former courtyard stable made of field and clinker stones and is part of the Suckow estate built between 1860 and 1890.
