Monthly Rentals in Flaxman Valley

We had amazing weekend away with friends at Flaxman Valley Homestead. Pat was welcoming and friendly and helped us feed the goats, sheep and alpacas. The outdoor fire was a big hit, as was the spa on the deck overlooking the vineyards. The homestead had all the comforts required including clean and comfortable beds and reclining couches as well as an easy to use indoor pot-belly fire which warmed up the living area. The sunset from the hill was just delightful as we saw a different view of the valley. We would love to come back again to such a safe, welcoming and relaxing space. Idyllic spacious place. Easy to get to the wineries in Barossa (Tanunda & beyond) Bianca’s place was perfect for a couples weekend getaway!

We were looking for somewhere quiet and remote, so it was perfect! Especially lovely was the birdlife surrounding the property. And it was just a short drive to some lovely wineries. Although we bought all our own supplies we were impressed by how there were lots of condiments on hand in case we needed them. Great selection of books to choose from. Very comfortable beds! If we could rate Lesley Ann, as a host, 20/10, we would!! Extremely friendly and accommodating, beyond our expectations. Extremely knowledgeable of the local area and surrounding wineries. The accommodation is only a few minute’s walk from the main street of Tanunda, lined with many cafes, restaurants and shops. A beautiful place to stay, highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
